And I think after you walk in a run it's time to pull the plug, no-hitter or not. But whatever, you pulled it off. Amazingly.
Haha. It was all or nothing. I would have rather lost 3-2 with a no hitter than pull him. And for some reason Puig just scared the **** out of me there. Even though he was 0-3.

I think that's a good call. As an AL team in Seattle, I rarely see the Dodgers, but the last series I remember, Puig was 0-3 like every game and always seemed to come through with a hit in late innings.

Well, nonetheless, no MLB manager would put the tying run in scoring position with an intentional walk.

Might be one reason why ill never be a manager. As long as he didnt give up the go ahead run he was staying in. He wasnt gonna come out for the 10th if i let him tie it up though.

Well, you've pitched a no-hitter. I have not. So you made the right decision.

After years of getting jobbed, I tossed three in 2wks on PS3 (2x) and Vita. Cain and Kershaw each had one, and I'm pretty sure my third was with Wainwright. Didn't even realize I had one going on Vita until the 9th. I was on a flight.

              Never a perfect game.

I've taken a perfect game into the 10th with King Felix before giving up a walk-off HR to Giancarlo Stanton. His stat line? 9.2 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 14 K, 1 ER, and got the loss. Only the Mariners, could manage to pull off that feat. The Show is too realistic at times lol. This was MLB 12, by the way, when we had a "Special" offence..

Threw 2 no hitters. Lester was the first against Pirates. Would have been a perfect game but I hit the second batter of the game. Becket was the second one against Orioles, that was a perfect game. The third one was against me, I was the Pirates and was no hit buy Latos of the Reds, it was a perfecto.

On MLB 12 I pitched 10 perfect innings with Gil Meche and lost the game because I couldn't score. <shakes head>

Quite incorrect. It's been done before.

Buck Showalter once walked Barry Bonds with the bases loaded to force in a run but ended up winning.

I pitched a perfect game with yu darvish in MLB 13 . I was so nervous from the 7th inning on. It felt so good when I got that last out.

I've pitched a couple. I had one about a decade ago with Shawn Estes, prompting me to go out and get probably the only Estes Cubs jersey anyone will ever own. I think that was in All Star Baseball 2004. I actually had another one this year in my third season with a new guy named Ozzie Jaquez.
Would the lady who left her nine kids at Wrigley Field please pick them up immediately? They are beating the Cubs 4-0 in the 7th inning!

I no-hit the Yanks with Matt Garza in MLB 14 on PS Vita. I'll try to find the image I posted once before.

I threw a combined no-hitter using the Orioles vs. the Dodgers in MLB 12 The Show (on All-Star settings). Took 4 pitchers after my starter went out with an injury.

I also threw a no-no with Guthrie using the Royals vs. the Angels this year(MLB 14). I had to go through Trout and Pujols as my final two outs of the game. Guthrie was gassed (113 pitches, All-Star settings, slider control set to 3, consistency set to 3). My girlfriend came into the room to see the final out. I was visibly sweating!
