I had a perfect-o with Charlie Morton against the Cards a month ago. What a rush! Pitching duel with only 3 hit in the entire game.

I think Carpenter or Peralta flubbed a ground ball to the left side of the infield if I remember right. Marte reached on the error but he got LOB. I believe he swiped 2nd base, but I could not drive him in.

Then it wasnt quite perfect. Still a no hitter and better than mine though.

It was the Cards that had the error... He was the Pirates.

              Had a no-no with Pittsburgh's F. Liriano but I walked like 6.

                  Re: No-Hitters?

I've thrown 3 with Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, and my rtts player last year. The one that I remember is the one that I just missed. I started a Pirates franchise and had the first pick pretty early on. Drafted a starting pitcher. He flew through the minors to his MLB debut against the Cubs at Wrigley on opening day. 1st inning 3 strikeouts, 2nd inning 3 strikeouts on 9 pitches. After that things settled down a little bit but he kept a perfect game in tact going into the 9th. 1st batter comes up and grounds out to 2nd. 2nd batter cones up and hits a deep fly ball to center but it's caught. The 3rd batter of the inning strikes out.

But my totally inept offense had only mustered 4 baserunners and 0 runs. So 0-0 after 9 with a perfect game going into the 10th in his MLB debut.

And then new Cub Ryan Braun ruined everything with a walk off home run.

                    Re: No-Hitters?

I got into the 8th, and missed an infield hit by about 1 foot of my diving SS.

The ramped up stress with every pitch is awesome. I can't imagine doing that in real life, and having to somehow put that pressure in the back of your mind.
