    In-game saves and a request

With watching the latest streams and seeing the game crash it reminded me that I wanted to ask about in-game saves.

Since moving to Florida about 2.5 years ago I have experienced way more power outages than what I was used to up north. I guess that comes with the territory of living in the lightning strike capital of the world.

But it got me thinking, I wish that we could save our game during game play and not have to exit the game. It literally storms about every day where I am during the summer months. I mean sometimes it is not even storming where I am at and the power flickers for a moment, just enough for the ps4 to restart and I lose my game progress.

Could it ever be implemented where we don't have to back out of the current game if we wish to save it?

It could also come in handy if you are trying to do other things like replicate something or branch out your results. Say you are in the 7th inning and want to see what happens if you pinch hit, you could save and play the game with a pinch hitter and then go back and leave your starter in and see what results occur. Not very sim like, but to each their own.

As far as i know you can save your game at any point during the game, once you do that you cant hop right back into it without loading your save file or just re entering the game.

It only gives you the option to save and exit a game when playing during your franchise in-game.

So, I am asking if we can have a separate option so that we can just save the game without exiting. That way if something happens after that we can just reload everything and not have to start from the beginning.

Bummer, but thank you for the response.

Stupid Florida haha. Storms pop up out of nowhere and last like 30 minutes. Then it is all hot and miserable again. Need to plug my PS4 into a generator ha.

You don't need a full-on generator. Plug both TV and ps4 into a UPS. That'd be enough to get you through the power flickers with out the console shutting down and if power fully goes out you'll have 10 minutes or so to save and power down.

Cool, I didn't think you could plug a TV into that.

Any suggestions on a good one for a decent price?
