They had smaller flames in 14, right? That's what I seem to remember anyway.

There were no flames at Angel Stadium in The Show last year.

On a side note, the wife and I went to games at all five California MLB parks last season. I was really impressed with Angel Stadium, enough that I started a Show season with the Angels even though I'm a Giants fan.

I'm doing a similar thing this year, actually. Well, last year I went to Petco and Chase Field for the first time, as well as Dodger stadium once, and obviously Angel Stadium a bunch of times. This year I'm going up to the bay area at the end of April to see the Angels play the A's at O.co and the Giants at AT&T on consecutive nights. I've never been to either park before I'm really really excited. Especially for AT&T, that park looks amazing. And I've heard wonderful things about the garlic fries!

I had the AT&T garlic fries. They're from Gilroy and they were awesome.

Seems like they always play on all star difficulty. Makes me think the game is tweaked for all star.

I heard and is this new, at the start of the game the dirt is wet and will dry during the game. Just a little thing

Hmmm I just watched the stream but I didn't notice any change during the Angels game. Did they mention it in the stream somewhere?

They show it off towards the end of the stream when they're playing at AT&T Park.

thaSLAB, can you comment on whether or not the home run flame throwers at Angel Stadium are in? They were playing on fast play in the stream so I couldn't tell on that Aybar home run.

Unfortunately, I don't know. I didn't look for it personally, because I was unaware that they did that. I will definitely take note for next year, if it's not in already.

It's been in Ramone's Stadium Feedback thread since May of last year, so it seems like they are aware. If they're not in this year maybe they just ran out of time/resources?

That would be my guess. Like I said earlier, I'm not gonna be upset if its not in this year, I just hope the devs are aware of it and it makes it into next year's game along with some better looking ivy. If those 2 things are fixed, I'd have nothing left to complain about in terms of my home stadium. (Other than the sections in the upper deck being too wide, but I'm not that pedantic. )

Anthony Rizzo rated an 84 isn`t great. Since they do a 3 year thing that could be the only explanation but he had the best numbers at first base in the NL last year man

Jon Lester and Cole Hamels have a B potential and Josh Harrison has an A? thats laughable
and Everth Cabrera better than Starlin Castro? thats pretty bad. some serious editing will take place arch 31 haha

Wet dirt in the first inning and dry dirt in the 6th inning!!!

Also man would I love to have that camera view option for batting, Pitching and Fielding for all game modes. Maybe MLB 16 The Show?

That angle is very reminiscent of the old top down 8 bit baseball games haha.

Just got around to watching the Thursday stream and was impressed with the bat wave they have Josh Hamilton. But now it makes me sad that they didn't give Javier Baez a similar one as the one I saw from one of the earlier streams looks really ugly when compared to the new Hamilton stance in MLB 15.

It's just too much, in game Baez drops his bat fully horizontal, but seeing Hamilton's stance in game gives me hope that they'll eventually get the bat flick type timing mechanism down on the stances. They look better each year.
