The lighting intrigues me. I have a question,is it going to more gradual going from twilight at the beginning of a game to full nighttime? It seems like it didn't take very long to go to complete dark in the Show 14. When you go to a real Majore League baseball game it doesn't get completely dark that fast. The Radio Show seems pretty cool, but I feel like it's going to get repetitive at some point,it always seems do that in these highlight shows. I loved the Madden that had the Tony Bruno show! It was great, but it got repetitive after awhile. What worries me is one of the Shows biggest problem has been the commentating. That has been very bad for years now, every year they say it's improved, but then you start playing a game and you can tell right away it really hasn't improved, maybe a few new lines are added, but then they start getting very repetitive fast,so my outlook for the radio show isn't very high. -
Why no mention of The Show Live? Hopefully, if it returns this year will finally work the way it was intended with real time stats all the time and a more dynamic commentary where it actually seems like a live broadcast and not just another exhibition game.Comment

Where did you see that? There is a grade based on goals obtained. I do not belive it is a hard and fast rule you are fired for not hitting the long range goal.Comment

Re: MLB 15 The Show Anticipated Features
Biggest addition for me is the revamped Franchise mode, its been needed for a while, and its the only mode I play, I could care less about DD, I have never even looked at it to see what it is,lol.
The lighting system is something Im excited for, I like that depending on where you play and what time of year it is, and time of game will determine how light or dark it is.
New hitting mechanics sounds nice, at 1st I thought great, now I have to learn a new way to hit and I already struggle, but more I think about the more I like it, and being able to have more impact on trying to pull the ball, hit the other way, along with more influence on grounders and fly balls is great, and I look forward to using it.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11
Favorite teams:
MLB- Reds/ and whoever is playing the Cubs

Re: MLB 15 The Show Anticipated Features
When it first came out on MLB 12, I was really excited to try Diamond Dynasty and really get into it. Unfortunately, the only way to progress was playing online. I was stuck playing MLB teams offline on the road.
By the time they improved that by allowing you to play other DD teams controlled by the CPU, I was already done experimenting with the mode. It was stale.
Now, by integrating it across the entire game, I'm sure I'll pay much more attention to it. Even if I don't end up playing in the mode itself. I imagine I'll still try to complete card sets to get the legendary players on my DD team. The only card collecting game I ever tried was in ASB 2004, and it was fun. I never really did the ones Madden had on PS2, but it seems like it's all the same. Just that you actually get to use them now.Comment

I am not sure if you're bashing RBI or not, but .... if enough people don't like The Show, then RBI might be your only option. RBI is obviously not in the same class as The Show, but competition is a good thing!Comment

The GM feature and better trades are quite intriguing. It's not as deep I would like for the franchise revamp, but enough to justify buying over MLB14. For the rest I hope the infeilder throwing delays have been fix with the animation changes.Comment

i started following baseball in 2010, and i am really falling in love more and more with the MLB and with the show also...but it is almost impossible to me to know every guy from every team and try to do good trades and have a good off season, something that i can do pretty well in Madden since i am a huge football fan.
so to me the biggest improvement i look forward to try is the new trade logic that helps finding players or suitors based on your needs or the needs of other teams.
again, this is huge for someone like me who loves baseball but still struggles with rosters and players name/characteristics and stuffComment

Off topic but yesterday's twitch stream is 'Player ratings, gameplay and lesser known features' accessible via twitch TV! Didn't see any feedback so I missed it. Watching now, they recapped the top 20 players!😊Greatest Braves Pitcher of All Time

Re: MLB 15 The Show Anticipated Features
I am really excited for some of the little and not so little things like:
1. All the new infield and outfield animations, especially on outs, routine outs and base runners slowing down to first knowing they have been nailed. I have seen some gorgeous throwing animations on the streams. The pitchers motions look even smoother and more realistic than ever. The slide step is a nice touch as well!
2. The new speed differences for outfielders and base runners, better more realistic routes to fly balls, the improved throwing animations (no more wall sucking by outfielders) from the outfield, the new cut-off system. No more phantom tags at second or third.
3. New pitch breaks. I love what I see so far with the new trajectories on curves, sliders, changes etc. It looks a lot more realistic now.
4. Inside The Show - this is a big feature and one that will make franchise feel alive. I am always in the menu's, looking through stats, lineups etc in my various franchise/season modes (30 team control) so hearing daily recaps is a welcomed addition.
5. Improved Quick Counts - I was holding out on this feature when I first picked up 14....but once I started playing with it and learned how to play with it (it is a huge adjustment at first) I can't play any other way.
6. Licensed Equipment - Wow it really makes the game look more real now. It is a big deal. Then the tie in to franchise with sponsorships. Very cool.
7. Trade Finder - Can't wait to use this!
8. Directional Hitting - I am looking forward to trying this as I am a timed hitter guy.
9. Improved Load Times - YES!!!
10. New Infield and Outfield sliders - I am really pumped that these sliders have been separated. I think this will only make customizing the game even easier than it already was.Last edited by Armor and Sword; 03-06-2015, 08:49 AM.Now Playing on PS5:

Re: MLB 15 The Show Anticipated Features
From the beginning I never thought that this would be such a big feature. Cool to have but figured it would just be a nice little add. But man I tell you, the more gameplay footage i watch, this feature adds so much to the overall look and feel to the game now. Its unrealPSN: OverPar8Comment
