    DS4 sound

Has anyone of the developers mentioned anything about the sound feature ever being implementing from the DS4 controller?

Great question. I'd love to hear ambient dugout and field chatter coming from the controller's speaker by 16.

In one of the streams when they were playing rtts they weren't paying attention to the coach and doubled up at second, would be good to hear the 3rd base coach thru the speaker.

Yeah, that speaker really catches my attention. If the coaches came through it, that'd be great. I wouldn't miss things.

This would be great for immersion, umpires, heckles, and base coaches, even teammate chatter say when u go back to the dugout. This thread hopefully gets the ball rolling for next year. If done right this could but terrific

For regular games it would be cool if when your batting, you hear the crack of the bat from the controller along with a little vibration, and when pitching, you hear the pop of the catchers mitt. Idk little things like that, I think would add to the immersion, and feeling like you're actually playing baseball.

I'd probably disable the D24 speaker if were ever implemented. The sound that comes out of the controller doesn't really fit very well with surround sound systems.

Same. I almost always wear a headset when playing so i wouldnt even be able to hear it.

                        Re: DS4 sound

I feel like the best way to go about these sounds would be to put the sounds of the crack of the bat and pop of the glove because when you play baseball those sounds come from your hands.

The coach's voice and other teammates/fans could be a cool feature to have play through a headset because that's what it would sound like if you were on the field.

I agree. It seems nice, in theory, but the implementation would probably come-off as poor. Not because of SCEA, but because of the speaker that is in the controller is weak and sounds poor in comparison to most people's at-home sound set up.

I don't want some tinny sounding effect coming from my controller when I have a surround sound system that is optimized to handle all of the gorgeous sound that the game can produce.

Just my opinion, but with the effort it might take to implement I fear it wouldn't be worth the hassle for the return it would provide in consumers making use of it.

If pitching from behind the pitcher, maybe you could hear the pitcher breathe/grunt and hear the sound of the ball leave the hand, then the TV will have the catcher's mitt sound. Like throwing from your controller to the TV.

I don't always play with the audio on the tv on (depends what I have on the other TV) and it would be absolutely fantastic if I could hear a "runner" from the speakers when the runner is stealing second. Can't tell you how many times I've missed it.
