    Pitching Guide Video

Since I got good feedback from my hitting guide, I figured I'd make a pitching video as well. It is a little lengthy, but please check it out! Feel free to disagree, agree, or add any other tactics you may have for online or offline.

My belief when it comes to pitch selection is to never be predictable, with one disclaimer: I rarely throw a changeup directly after a curveball.

True but I believe vs the CPU it is more about execution than anything. Online it is a different story. If someone can't hit a high fastball then I will keep throwing it. If you play a good hitter then yes become unpredictable.

        Re: Pitching Guide Video

Lately, there's been one guy I've faced online who is able to steal bases at will. He'll retreat if I try to pitch-out, like cb7 mentioned . Hopefully the slide step will give pitchers a better chance next year.

Another way to hold a runner is to have your pitcher turn his head to look at the runner (R2 button - I think). While the pitcher is looking over, just tap the button and he'll throw over to first. If the runner is taking an extra lead, you can sometimes pick him off.
