I dont understand the question. I'd say it's the actual game size.. the retail version shouldn't be compressed. IDK...

Pretty sure it's a common practice to have the digital versions of games be compressed (like a zip file) in order to allow them to download faster. The file is unpacked to the full size once on the system.

I really dont think it is compressed. Had this discussion in another thread and i even went as far as to uninstall the game just to download it again. Had to download the full 41+ GB.

So now this question comes up in my head. If I delete The Show 14 from my hard drive before installing 15 do I have to save a specefic file where the universal profile data is located so it carries over to 15?

No as game day at is separate to save data plus I think it might be tied to your psn name

Does anyone know why its so huge? I bought The Show with my PS4 last year, and was surprised at how huge the game file was. I then expected all PS4 games to be similar, but none of my other four (Madden, AC Unity, DA Inquisition and Lego Hobbit) required a large install of any kind. What is it about the show that mandates that?

Because it is full of greatness If I were to guess, the devs add a ton of features (animations..etc) which adds up in terms of space.

37 is about average these days. I have games that are 45, 50+.

It's pretty crazy tbh, I'm seriously considering sticking a 2tb drive in the PS4 soon
