Vita vs PS4 Version Questions
So I'm wondering, do I pick up the vita version or the ps4 version? I've got lot of travel planned for the upcoming couple of months and am wondering if the Vita version will be enough to hold me over until I'm able to really get my hands on the PS4 version? Also, would there be any benefit to waiting a month or two on picking up the PS4 version? Are there usually any price drops that soon after release? Thanks!Go Cocks!!! 2010 and 2011 CWS Champs!!! Re: Vita vs PS4 Version Questions
Id get the PS4 version and use remote play to play it on the vita when you are away from home. -
Re: Vita vs PS4 Version Questions
I always get both versions of The Show. The problem with remote play is having to have a real stable wifi connection. (Thats the only choice I have on my Vita) I travel a lot to and finding a good signal can be harder than you think. With a separate Vita version I just run a different franchise and RTTS. I love having The Show portable. In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: Vita vs PS4 Version Questions
Anyone know what the file size is for the Vita version? I may have to clear some space on my memory stick.
I bought a Vita primarily to play The Show. It's helped me get in more games in my season/franchise than I have in previous years. Remote Play is too unstable for me to use that consistently.
I wish there was a physical copy of the game being released this year, but $20 for a digital copy is a good deal.Currently Playing:

Just remember that when they shut off the servers your cross play goes out the window too.Comment

Re: Vita vs PS4 Version Questions
What's cool is that the new update (v2.50 - Yukimura) may be adding 60fps for Remote Play! "...60fps Remote Play / Share Play and the ability to find the PSN account of your Facebook friends."
"Remote Play & Share Play at 60 fps: For games that support 60 fps, the ability to customize the frame rate of Remote Play and Share Play will be added with “Yukimura.” Play to your bandwidth strengths and use this option to stream gameplay at 60 or 30 fps when using Remote Play or Share Play on supported devices."

Re: Vita vs PS4 Version Questions
I'll get both. I did last year because remote play doesn't work well for me outside of my home. At $20 it is pretty much a steal.Comment

Re: Vita vs PS4 Version Questions
I also get both every year, mostly because that barely-noticeable lag that I haven't been able to iron out of Remote Play makes a huge difference in games like The Show, but also because I like to support SCEA and the Vita in general.
I'm a serious hero, basically.Comment

Is the Vita version (or vita games in general) usually available at midnight on launch date?Comment

Re: Vita vs PS4 Version Questions
I wanted to buy the Vita version this weekend while there is a 10% sale on PSN but there is no sign of being able to pre-order it at this point. Does anyone know if Best Buy GCU discount applies to this if I can buy a "digital code on a card" in-store?Comment

Re: Vita vs PS4 Version Questions
I don't think the current code works on pre-orders anyway, at least it didn't for me with the PS4 version.Comment
