Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I figured I'd give it a try!

I recently purchased The Show 14 for my Vita and made my all rookie team for franchise mode which I usually do. When the first off season came around it had basically all of my rookies as "Contract Renewable" but whenever I would try to renew them it would say that I can't sign anymore players due to my roster being full. I don't see how this could be the case, half of my team is showing up on the "Manage Contracts" screen as "Renewable". Where is free agency also?? All I ever see in the contracts section are my players and I simulated to see what would happen and all of my guys became free agents and I didn't see any dudes from other teams on the list. WHAT IS HAPPENING. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS. Last baseball game I played was a 2K one on the 360. Free agency was handled way differently.

Does training your players help or make your players tired in Franchise mode?

Have the Devs opened up as to why they made the game harder this year? Ive seen numerous amounts of people on here complain about it, and would like to know my self as well.

The game simply does not reward you for good contact most of the time. Playing with zone hitting, it seems like the majority of my AB's end in line drive's or deep fly balls that die at the warning track.

I was hitting at the "Superstar" difficulty last year with it being a good challenge, as I was in the middle of the pack in runs scored in my franchise.

This year, Ive had to bump it down one to "Allstar" and am having trouble cracking 3 runs a game consistantly (Using the Nats), am ranked 30th in runs scored and batting average. Sample size can't be a reason, as I am around 100 games into my season.

Maybe you should try dynamic difficulty.

Maybe you should try dynamic difficulty.

I fully realize that I can always lower the difficulty some more, but I was wondering if the Devs ever brought it up or talked about the difficulty spike this year.

Anyone had the team you are controlling trade someone without you telling it to? Doing 30 team control and the Brewers (me) traded Garza for for Austin Jackson. I even checked to make sure i didnt put trades on auto on accident.

Yeah. I reported the bug in April. I usually go back and trade the players back. I'm not sure what triggers it.

Is tbere a manual tag button to tag tbe runner ? Seems like once i move the fielder myself he eont tag the runner anymore.

Why is it every time I have runners on first and third with less than 2 outs I take a lead and as soon as I do the AI fires the ball to first and I am picked off??

Is there a limit to how many challenges you can do per day? Telling me there's no challenges found even though I'm still online.

This was brought up in another thread. People seem to think that the challenges are being done away with. Nothing definite has been said.

that sucks. I like the challenges. I guess too many people are trying to take stubs from the tpcs and dpcs.

im pretty sure there is no manual tag, u just gottta let the comp do it for you, tho they SUCK HORRIBLY AT THIS and will often miss a clear tag when the throw beats the guy by a mile. If there is one look through the game settings options or even the digital manual, i doubt it tho
