I gotta ask. Am i missing something with the HR cam? It seems like no one likes it and i have no idea why. Is there a video that someone can show whats wrong with it?

I bought the game today and it looks great. I can't wait to actually start playing and building up my character. I am new to this game and the first thing I did was go to the Create a Player section. I spent 2 hours editing and creating my Player and I hit the options button (Advanced Options) (Which kept glowing) so i thought it was supposed to be pressed. I clicked it and asked if I wanted to send the player as a Free Agent. I really didn't know what that meant. So I clicked on Make the player a Free Agent. Needless to say I don't know what happened to the character I created and spent 2 hours editing. How can I get that character back or find him again to edit him and make him my Road to the Show custom character. It is very frustrating. I really don't want to spend another 2 hours making my character. I want to know what happend to the one I sent out as a free agent. Where did he go??? Thanks!

Is this a apirl fools joke? You have to make you road to the show guy when you click on road to the show. If you just created a player like you did you just end up making him a free agent so that is where he is.

Not an April Fools Joke at all. I have never played this game. I honestly didn't know where to go. So I went directly to the create a player section. There was no option to save him that I am aware and if there was the UI and UX was not clear. How can I get the player I spent 2 hours making back?

What does making a free agent mean? Does it mean I can just make endless create a players and just send them out randomly and not know where they go? Its confusing. Is there a way to keep track of free agents that have been sent out?

I know looking back I should have started on the Road to the Show but I didn't do that.

I forget when you make a player if you can make them a free agent or if you can also just put them on a team but free agent just means that they are not on a team and that any team if you use that roster can then pick up the guy on there team in franchise mode or road to the show. If form the main menu go to rosters you can look at a list of all the free agents and put him on a team but that wont help you for road to the show has you are not picking a team to play has. So you are going to have to start a road to the show and make him all over again.

Gameplay options / General / Advanced / swing/pitch Info/ switch to Off

I have mine off also. Hate it.

While the only another thing you could do would be put him on a team save the roster and then use that roster in franchise mode and play franchise mode with player lock on the guy you made as player lock you just control one guy like you do in road to the show how ever there are a lot of another things that are different with road to the show. Franchise mode is more for playing has a team where road to the show is more about just you player.

I absolutely agree that the delay that occurs once contact is made with the ball when hitting is very annoying. I hope they make a patch to fix this along with showing foul balls going into the stands. It looks odd having the camera not move during those foul ball situations.

Don't get me wrong this is a fantastic game and The Show 15 team did an amazing job, but that "delay" issue really takes away from the game experience.

Maybe we should/could start a petition to try to get this removed or at least the ability to have the option to turn it off?

In MLB15 it does not sound as good as 14 when i hit the ball or when the catcher catches it. Everything else sounds good. I have sound effects turned all the way up so that isn't my problem. Has anybody else noticed this?

Did they have a day 1 patch? if yes do we know what it fixed?
And
Is it me or does it seem like we have more generic player pics than last year?

Correct when I'm on offense and CPU is on D. And no not very easy to tell as you can't tell the trajectory!

im actually hoping in a patch or next year they add an option to either have it for both hitting and pitching. especially if people dont want it.
maybe a toggle on/off switch in presentation called batting delay or something.

Agreed - this annoys the heck out of me right now. Everything else is set perfectly, except that little glowing "R2" alert. Strange how they missed this - why would someone who logs hours and hours of the game need this alert anyway?

So it sounds like you want to play Road To The Show, correct? That's the mode where you start as a prospect and work your way up to the big leagues, you only control your player. If so, just go straight to the Road To The Show area when you begin MLB 15 The Show.

The Create Player section is for making players that you want to use in Exhibition or Franchise modes. For instance, if you wanted to start a Franchise with the Yankees where you control the whole team, but you also wanted to make some "fake" players to have in your franchise, you would create them with that tool and then place them on your roster before beginning your franchise.

Hope that helped clear it up a little.

I bat using Catcher Cam. And like i said when the CPU bats it doesnt do this only when I bat. I am absolutly loving this game but this one minor thing is annoying/ruining the expierence for me. Am i probably in the minority feeling this way? Yes! but i felt they had it perfect the last few years so why mess with it? And im not asking them to take it out, but just give us the option to toggle it on and off like you stated!. Im truly hoping they do patch it this year!
