Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
well compared to mlb 14 the lighting and shadows in 15 is amazing giving real time look authentic.(can select day or night game from any month in the season which makes you feel like your in that month in that part of the country) madden 15 was the best one out this year but comparing these games doesn't really make sense. they are all made by different developers so they all have there strengths and weaknesses. I feel that baseball always had a slight edge in video games in the past . developers now working with the ps4/xbox one have so much more to work with giving making details that much more noticeable. What really stands out in the show is the lighting from each stadium and how it creates such a realistic atmosphere. NBA always looks good from facial animations , tattoos, sneakers etc. and madden 15(thought it was the best one out in years) looked beautiful especially the stadiums, player models, little details like new catch animations , way better tackle animations, crowd looks slightly more realistic and more responsive to the gameplayComment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Hello all.
I only play RTTS and I have a few questions (addressed of course to this mode):
1. I play 2B and I use Result Fielding so I can see every out when playing defense. I rarely X through cut-scenes and walk-ups as I enjoy the full flow of the game. But this year I have to press X for every opponent batter.
Is there a setting which allows me to watch the out (or the hit), the animations following the out and then the new batter walking up to the plate without having that sim screen show up every time and having to X it?
2. Is there any way to see the batting order? To see who's on deck and all that? It was last year, but I can't find it this year.
3. When batting with runners on, how can I see their speed and steal ratings? for 1st and 3rd there are the runner windows, but for a runner on 2nd? Again, last year I could just hit one button and all these informations would have been available, but this year I'm lost in the menus.
Thanks. Please excuse my English. I'm not a native English speaker.Comment

Just to confirm, we can feed unwanted players from collections to our player after we collect the legend correct? Just want to make sure I will not lose Bagwell.Comment

Hello,
I have not got any response to this previously (apologies if it is common knowledge or obvious) oxymoronic? question:
Did they remove the option to select "slow" as fast forward speed in gameplay?
Thanks in advance for an answer,
Also, if not could you please explain where you go to make adjustmentsComment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
Are there any other plays that trigger a challenge (BESIDES) a bang-bang play at first? Maybe like a close tag? trap a ball with glove? anything? And not talking about fair or foul HR, I'm talking about the new challenge system they have put in this year.Comment

Re: MLB 15: The Show Q & A Thread
I havent seen anything else. To be fair, though... I never saw anything else in real life, either. I'd say plays at first base made up about 90% of challenges in real life... at least for my team (the Mets).Comment

Okay, I was just wondering. Seen a manager challenge today during O's game (real life) catcher missed tag at home plate, runner was called out then safe after challenge overturned HP umpires call.Last edited by Cman9; 04-06-2015, 10:21 PM.Comment
