How did he make it personal? You came in making it seem like everyone that gets it physically is doing it wrong. Pretty much saying there was no reason at all to not go digital. When he gave you a reason he is getting a physical copy you made it personal. Not to mention he is a mod so maybe you should just shut up before getting banned.

It's not egotistical to say I went physical this year because I had the opportunity to get it a day early.

As I mentioned, I went digital last year, since I can play Monday this year I went physical.

I, in no way, am "bragging" about getting it ONE day early as I know that means nothing.


To recap, your first post says there is no advantage to going physical disc and you couldn't understand why someone would.

I responded with what I thought was a pretty sound argument as to why one would but instead you turned it into an attack on words rather than a discussion.

Carry on though.

Considering yearly there is a whole thread for custom covers to use on the BOX of the game and a steel book included for this years anniversary edition, id say there is plenty of reason to own the physical copy.

Hell, i went digital this year but i sort of regret it since there are quite a few people getting the game early in NY.

I think I saw someone say you can play the game before 12 oclock while it installs? You play an exhibition game between the Royals and Giants. Can anyone clarify this

If things go the way they should, it should all install before 12 and it'll be ready to go full game at 12.

Also, I can't remember from last year since I would have been in bed before midnight but was it available at midnight in the East or did we have to wait until 3 am?

There was a problem with the PS store last year. The game didn't become available for download until Tuesday afternoon. I think games typically got in at 3am though at that time

The DD I did last year it was good to go at 12. Not 3.

For the people asking when it was available last year. And it has 227 for me.
