It has. It was posted this past Monday as an MLB Monday Gamestop promotion.

This one is longer, though. Good stuff!

I wonder how accurate the sun position thing is. I'm going to be checking their work

Calculation of sun’s position in the sky for each location on the earth at any time of day. Azimuth, sunrise sunset noon, daylight and graphs of the solar path.

My biggest question is if it's by day or simply by month.

In other words, is August 1st going to have a different sun position than August 31st, or does it change on September 1st games?

Thanks for the link, I'll be checking that out too just like I compare the stadiums in the Show with real life pictures every year. And it's not to be 'nitpicky,' I just love the small details and creativity that this dev team implements every year.

As for whether or not the August 1st sun will be different than August 31st (as opposed to Sept 1), I just doubt that they implemented sun position cycles to reflect changes on a daily basis like they've seemingly done for monthly changes. I think sooner or later these types of games will be able to have incredibly realistic solar cycle/positioning down to the calendar day, but I'm just glad that the Show (at least) has day/night transitions and different solar positions for different months. That's pretty much all I can ask for right now, considering other sports game developers can't even implement basic day-afternoon-night transitions correctly.

These types of little details make non-baseball fans like myself purchase sony consoles just to be able to play the Show on a yearly basis.

It's accurate all the positions and movements are based on Google satellite data.

So the sun position changes on a daily basis?

Of course it's daily changes. They just show it month to month in videos because the differences are more pronounced.

I think franchise and RTTS players are going to appreciate it the most. The longer shadows really signify that October is here and the season is ending. I'm definitely going to pay more attention to the time games start.
