Everytime I have seen a pitcher get hit, they stay in the game (myself included)

    Seems a bit off.

The last one was with me on 2B going to 3rd and I was doubled off. It's getting to the point where pitchers should start wearing catcher's gear.

It's been a problem for years now, they said they improved it this year but it seems just as bad to me, especially the rate that the defense will still get outs even when the pitcher gets drilled.

Of course, the only time I've been drilled as a pitcher so far, last night, my pitcher of course started hobbling around and wouldn't field the ball, and nobody else went after the ball and I didn't get the out.

One of the first games I played, I peeled a line drive off the pitchers head...he stayed in the game. I replayed it at least 3 times and it was right off the side of his head

I know. I've played every year since 06. If I remember, the issue started in 13, got really annoying in 14, and in 15 it's utterly ridiculous. The ball off the back of the pitcher should have most likely caused him to at least leave the game. It was a 100+ mph line drive directly off the back of the pitcher and bounced up in the air at least 25 ft where the SS caught it in the OF grass for the out.

Do you know how the rosters work. Like when will kris Bryant be added to the rosters. Cuz I want to start a new rtts but I'm waiting till he's on the roster so I can have him on my team. Addison Russell as well. Do they have to make the actual mlb team in order for them to be added? Cuz Bryant isn't being called up till may 10th

              Yes.

OSFM should be out before May 10th I think

Made a speedy contact SS i did ok in the showcase and got drafted in the 3rd round by the cubs.

first AA game i go 5/5 all singles. not a bad way to start a career

i know the cubs have a lot of infield depth and its going to be difficult to move up with castro and russell at short in front of me. i could switch to an outfielder but i suck at playing defense in the outfield. for now ill sit tight and see how this year plays out but i really want to stay with the cubs and help them win a WS

I am having a real issue this year with fielding hard ground balls that I need to dive for. My RTTS character is a SS and my fielding stats are all 80+. My issue is on sharp ground balls that I can't get to I will time my dive right, the only problem it seems like the camera won't shift to allow me to stop the ball. I dive no where near the ball.

Is there something I can do to fix this? I use analog controls for fielding

I got the weekend off of work so I'll probably create a pitcher this weekend in between game time with Battlefield...double XP this weekend haha.

A lot has happened since my last post about CF Cameron "Fulton" Fulerton

After being the standout rookie of the league, for the Rockies i requested a trade because Car Go came back and i started playing like every 3 games so i was traded to the orioles where i started for 3 weeks before being traded to the reds

And I have been slumping ... hard

im batting .344 on the season but since joining the reds ive been delegated to the bench behind aa player that is much lower than me in ovr

my ba has gone down by .035 since joining the club and im yet to hit a home run

the only positive is my sb total of 29
                      Colts

                      Lakers
                      Yankees
                      I'm basic sometimes don't judge

Does anyone know how to call for a pick off throw in RTTS? I play short stop and i always get the holding the runner on second animation but the pitcher never throws. I feel like I have hit every button combination but never throws the ball. Maybe this animation is just for show?

My 18 year old 3rd baseman got called up to the Braves the second week of August. They put Chris Johnson at 1st since they had traded Freeman straight up to get Kimbrel back from the Padres. I debuted in the last game of the series at Tampa Bay & got 1 hit. Next game at Turner field in my first at bat against the Dimaondbacks I hit my first home run. Best start to a call up ever!

I was really looking forward to RTTS this year. Year to year saves, amazing equipment brands! But then I start to play and realized that every game wants me to carry the team. Back to back 14 inning games each wanting me to get the game winning run is very disappointing as no one on the Dodgers produced a hit! Its like my teammates do not even exist. I don't speed up game play I watch every at bat for both user controlled and cpu teams. So it is highly disappointing when you are the only person on the team who has a dirty uniform with a hit!

I don't want to carry my team every game and the random trade logic is terrible so forget trying to do a season with your favorite team! Dont believe me just google too see what people are saying! With that said I had to give up on RTTS like many of the other post I have read!

So now I am playing franchise with a controlled created player and my teammates play like they should and don't all of a sudden make throwing error's or run by balls so that the computer can catchup when losing in late innings! I hope I don't have to wait until 2016 for them to fix this and say its a new feature (Ramone Russell)

Sorry guys just had to vent because I was the skeptical guy when I first joined OS forums way back when. I would see a lot of post from people bashing 2k and madden for their year to year marketing efforts and how they felt cheated or let down each year.

I said to myself these guys or gals must be crazy! But now I realize the same thing is going on with MLB The Show so Ramone Russell if you see this post I do appreciate the effort the studio puts out each year but give some of the basic mechanics some love before marketing all the features to sale us on! Because the CPU outfielders still run in straight lines and make outrages catches on shots hit to the outfield in MLB 15 but you probably new that alredy!

So I imagine a twitch stream from the sony studio will sound something like this next year for MLB The Show 2016!

                            • New running animations: When your controlled player leads off then rapidly sprints back to the base at 5x speed. Thats completely removed they now walk smoothly back to the bag just as you would see in real life.

                            • For those of you who play infield positions we now have a new dynamic camera that sits lower behind your infielder allowing you to see more of the play develop!

                            • You can now cut off the ball in RTTS mode!

                            • We hired runners to motion capture running animations so your players no longer will have the straight up boxy run look.

                            • Remember how after diving and missing a catch your character would get up and sprint in a direction for no reason? New feature in 2016 the character now stays in the exact spot after the dive so that you control the input!

                            • The tag and slide mechanic we mentioned last year actually works now (My RTTS player slides exactly like he did last year so I hope I missing some documentation somewhere!)

Does this all sound like a familiar twitch video OS users?

Well MLB The Show will not get my hard earned $59.99 plus stub money next year!

                            Get the fundamentals right first!

Decided to do something different for RTTS this year and created a junkball specialist...kinda have an improbable journey type of player being 5'6" 156 and having no velocity whatsoever so all he throws is junk - knuckleball, knuckle-curve, forkball, and screwball.

After a passable showcase, was drafted into the Marlins organization. Just had the best-pitched game I've ever had (including a couple of no-hitters/perfect games)...a CG shutout, 3 hits, and 10Ks all on 86 pitches.
