Started my minor league career on a tear with the Chattanooga Lookouts (Twins drafted me in 4th Rd at first base).
Was hitting .378 with 16 HRS and 65 RBI at the end of May. Playing against the Barons I hit a screaming liner to left field and tried bust it into a double. I was thrown out... and broke my leg.
I go on the 60-Day DL and I'm thinking the season is over. Missed the All Star game and hadn't been called up with those great numbers.
I come off the DL in early August and wouldn't you know... I'm immediately called up to AAA Rochester!
So far my batting is decent, but not as good as I'd hope. Trying to keep the faith that I can make the 40 Man roster and join the Twins if they make a playoff push.
If not, the Red Wings are only 4.5 games out. All of this and MLB 16 is right around the corner!?
