Re: Disc vs Download
It is not against the rules. I share it with my brother, which is what it was designed to do. Yeah if you share with a some random guy then that can be a bit fishy and I would not trust them with my account info.Comment

Re: Disc vs Download
Yesterday, I traded in my ps3 version of the Show for $14. For me, that's enough to have the physical disk.
Also, I saw AC: Unity at Target right now is $20 where it's still 59 on the PSN. I think PSN will need to be more competitive to go all out digital.Comment

Re: Disc vs Download
To be clear we are talking about game sharing and not share play where you can stream it to a friends PS4 and play together correct? If so game sharing is technically against the TOS. If your account is set to primary on your brothers PS4 which allows him to play on his own account and then you can play on your account on your PS4. Nothing ever happens from it though.Comment

Re: Disc vs Download
We live w/ one another and sometimes I buy them on my main console (primary) and other times I will use his PS4 (secondary) in the bedroom. That was one of their selling points for digital games. Otherwise, digital games would be a waste because you could just share the physical copy.
It even says this on their page
I understand that some people abuse it w/ random strangers they meet and have never actually touched that console in person, but the game sharing was built for "friends and family". They need incentives like this or else you will still have people out there trade it in to gamestop for 5 bucks and or buy it used for 55 bucks and the producers see none of that money.Comment

Your brother is fine to log into his account and play it on your ps4. You're fine to log into his ps4 with your credentials and play it.
He cannot however be logging into his ps4 with your credentials in order to play it.Comment

I am new to digital downloads(Gamestop ran out of 10th Anniversary pre-orders when I went to reserve it) I noticed today that the themes are available, how do you get all the other stuff that comes with pre-orders like the stubs and the skin?Comment

Re: Disc vs Download
I gotta be honest, to see that taking literally 10 seconds to switch out a disc being considered such a hassle for some people is quite unbelievable, in my opinion.
I always go with the disc. Main reason being is that I have a display for all the games I've purchased for each console and it's sort of cool to look over on my shelf and see the games I've bought throughout the years. There's just something about owning a case and all, seeing the cover art etc. It just feels right.
Another reason being is that I have a friend and a cousin who have extremely poor internet connection. They're big baseball fans and I always bring The Show over to their house and play.
I don't care if its 1999, 2015, or even 2033...I have nothing against digital download, but it just doesn't feel right to me.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Re: Disc vs Download
Well, it's not always that easy. Sometimes you are chilling on the couch, maybe you were playing another game previously, watching a movie now, etc, baby, pet, gf, wife, whatever then passes out on you where you can't move so you think "nice, time for some ps4" so it's a nice little option to have it in the hd already. I for one always end up having the remote either within grabbing distance or already on the couch.
This isn't my only reason for going digital with this game, but it's not a reason I've heard anyone mention before KeirikComment

Re: Disc vs Download
This year I went DD. This is my first game and first time doing it this way and it has went smooth so far. It's downloaded and ready for Tuesday.
Now, if I had the opportunity to get it early, I'd take that in a heart beat but I don't know any ma and pa stores. I did go DD this year because asking around people said it takes the same space as a disk. I also like that it pre-downloaded And ready to go for Tuesday and also saved me time from having to go to the store and wait in line then get home and instal it.
As far as taking it to a friends house.... I'm older now, most of my gaming, I do on my time and chill with people online. My brother lives about 2 days worth of straight driving so I wouldn't play with him. LolComment

Re: Disc vs Download
Disc if you think you might end up trading it back in for credit. Digital if your going to want to own it forever.Comment
