When hitting with broadcast cam, if you know the finger placement for the different type of pitches, you can guess the type of pitch coming up next depending on the pitcher and how well the he hides his hands before delivering the ball. Just like irl, with batters and base runners picking up on different ques from the pitcher.
Chris Archer, I was able to read all his pitchers from both the stretch and the windup. He does not do a good job at all of hiding his pitches. Mat Latos, I was only able to read his pitches when he threw from the stretch. David Phelps has such a quirky starting motion that I couldn't read his pitch from the stretch or windup.
Making my MLB debut in RTTS and they showed me signing autographs with my LEFT hand. This makes sense as I'm a lefty, but something that could have been easily overlooked.
It's a fairly big 'little thing', but the ball physics on singles.
The flight of the ball was much more realistic, and even though I've only played one game so far it was very noticeable.
The ball falls a lot quicker on routine base hits hit in the air, and that's a welcome change.
It may be improved, but I'm going to have to disagree that the change is drastic enough to be considered noteworthy. For all that The Show does well, there are some hit types that this game has never had I was once so pleased that I saw a bloop single in MLB 15 that I actually captured video of it and uploaded it, and it only happened because the wind was blowing in 30 MPH in-game.
This game needs to work on trajectories for weaker hits, because it does not allow weak hit line drives. Much the same, outfielders are positioned too closely and charge in too well for anything to amount to anything in the bloops department.
As much as I appreciate their ball physics changes since MLB 10, the hit physics is the one facet in this game that needs to be completely scrapped and redone.

It looked like a routine pop out, but carried far enough to drop from the 1st baseman and shallow enough the RF couldn't get to it.
Then just last game I took an inside pitch out and hit a weak rainbow over the 2nd baseman's head that pretty much died right where it landed.
I am playing with fielder speeds turned nearly all the way down, so that may be why I see more bloop hits than others.

Check my sliders (no one else is lol), I lower fielder speeds very much as well.
I'm certain they have improved, but as I said there are just some hit types of the weaker variety that this game has never replicated properly. Fielder speed ratings still doesn't change how quickly they get to singles, either.
I want to do actual empirical timing of what I mean.

Something I noticed the last few games.. when setting the defense for a drag bunt, the game automatically resets to normal depth with 2 strikes. Great stuff.

Perhaps I am seeing things, but I swore I just watched Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels spit on the mound after giving up a 3 run homerun to the Red Sox's Hanley Ramirez in a Opening Day CPU vs CPU game with the "Broadcast" presentation enabled.
