i have got a question about the pitch trail

the question is how do you read the 2 red lines, because i use meter pitching with the catcher view and i put the ball where the mitt is but sometimes the pitch is high if the ball i put low, is there something that i'm doing wrong, why does it seem that with the pitch trail on its harder to throw strikes, and i'm playing as a sp in rtts
