Online has been mostly great for me.... until someone draws a walk.

When I draw a walk or I walk my opponent, there is a good chance that the game will freeze. Not every time but that is generally when it happens to me. It also seems to happen with high inside pitches (ones that cause the batter to bail out of the batters box). Perhaps it is something to do with the animation?

I also see the occasional weird animation when on offense (like seeing balls get hit through the middle when in reality I was thrown out at first).


Overall tho? Gameplay is the smoothest that I can remember. I don't notice any lag at all. Fix the freezies and I will be in heaven!

Freezing constantly. Ive froze in 3 of my 4 games. Im currently sitting here stuck as the kid im playing against walked me with the bases loaded and now im just watching his team walk around in the field because my batter wont come up to the plate. This crap year after year is getting kind of ridiculous.

Online for me has been terrible. If it's not the sketchy animations like where the announcers say it's a base hit thru the middle only to find out I've been thrown out its running into IP boosters. Also i dont know if anyone else has played the psn is Leafs-UFC-Jays but he knows ways of glitching the game out and forcing you to either quit and get the L or wait it out, and he literally will wait 24+ hours without quiting.

I've played him as well, and ran into the same thing.

I was playing online against my co-worker; I was batting in the bottom of the 4th inning, one out, runner on 1st base. Batter walked, and now I’m waiting for my batter to come to the plate, his pitcher pacing behind the mound, I’ve played three online games so far (One: 9inning game, Two: mercy 7inning games). I’m not sure if the freezing problem has to do with people that downloaded the game vs people with the disk. My game was downloaded. This is unacceptable; we need a patch to fix this.

Very annoyed right now, i have played 8 games so far online ranked and one game froze my ps4 completely and the last game i played a few minutes ago, the game was glitching, the ball was moving weird, players in the field were warping to different spots, then the game shuts off and says an error has occurred, my main complaint here is, i didnt have an error, the ps4 had an error, the game had an error, but for some reason i get stuck with the loss, what the hell man? Charge me 40 and give me offline features only, online = no more play till they fix it.

Overall it has been ok, but it's not a game that I can count on to work. Menus will take forever load. I've been sitting here for 30 minutes trying to play an online game with a friend. Needless to say it's not happening.

Game crashed on me in the 13th inning of the first game I've played. Before that it only froze up a few times and the lag was mostly unnoticeable.

Overall I am a huge baseball fan and love the visual details but RTTS mode suffers with gameplay for example having your player carry the team if not you will definitely loose. Or if you are winning watching your teammates make several mistakes in late innings e.g throwing errors or running past balls so the CPU can tie or take the lead :/

This happens on a consistent basis. So it made me give up on RTTS and create a player in Franchise mode where I can use the cut-off throw feature and the game and teammates play more realistic.

After playing my first initial 5 games with no lag.....I have played 6 more games online (all Diamond Dynasty)....5 were smooth and lag less and 1 was laggy but playable.....

I am wired and running on a gigabit switch to my fios router...Open type 2 NAT....

The servers have been awful for me all day. I'm not even trying to play online H2H, just trying to manage my DD team, use the marketplace, play some Extra Innings games. It keeps saying the connection to the server has been lost. It's only a problem with The Show, my connection to PSN is fine, my internet is fine, it's just The Show servers. I haven't seen anything on the forum today about the servers being down for others so I'm really wondering why it's being so problematic for me today, I haven't had any issues with it since release day.

I played two online franchise games. Both games were lag free and we completed both. The only issue is the damn outfield errors. I had four in first three innings with a highly rated Royals outfield. Ugh so frustrating. In my other league the only errors I've committed were with gold glove Juan Legares and mind you the rest of my Mets are not good fielders. These outfield errors are happening on easy fly balls.
