    Pitcher/Batter Analysis In-Game

In MLB14 you could view the pitcher/batter analysis during an at bat by pressing the touchpad. In 15, it looks like you have to go all the way inno settings > stats > Pitcher or Batter Analysis

Is there another way to do this? Would kinda suck if pressing the touch pad now just brings up those little tips in the bottom right rather than something useful

That's not exactly true, you still had to push L1/R1 to view the analysis screens you're referring to after hitting the touchpad. This is definitely a few more button presses though, that much is true.

Maybe we're still missing a way to get there quicker, but I haven't found one yet.

Yeah you're right, it was touchpad > R1/L1 now that I think about it. Such a pain to pause every time I wanna see this, especially because I'm not seeing anything super useful from hitting the D-pad during an at bat. Not sure why they took this out

That'll bring up the pitch types/counts I think, but I'm talking about the whole analysis overlay with the strikezone, where each ball was thrown, different situations such as full count, behind in count, etc

The Pitcher/Batter Analysis screen is one of the most resourceful menu items when I play my franchise to scout pitchers/hitters, in game. You'd think the objective would be to make it more accessible (as it already was) as opposed to the opposite. I'm hoping a patch fixes this issue as well as the in-game strikeout/BB stats not being displayed with quick menus.

Yep, losing lots of time having to pause for almost every batter to decide how I want to pitch him based on previous at bats, etc

I'm really hoping they can patch it back to the way it was in '14
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

One of the 1st things i noticed was this screen missing,is there no way of seeing a hitters push/pull tendencies.

I could understand removing it to use the button, touch pad in this instance, for some new menu/feature but now it has no use at all.Should have just left it alone.I guess there "data" told them no one was touching the touch pad.

Two years in a row a feature i have used has been removed, this and and not being able to pull the camera back to see 2nd when pitching in broadcast.

edit: cheers bcruise just noticed that.
                  OT
The pause/option button on the ds4 is the hardest button for me to use as i only have about a qtr of my thumb on my right hand and while i can move it up to the button because it is flat i can't feel it with my damaged thumb,so i use my index finger. With the new feature to map buttons how we want i might see if the option button can be mapped to the TP,but unsure if its a option or how it will effect other games.will check when i finish the game i am in.

It's on the pause screen (and the defensive alignment screen).

I like the layout of the pitcher/batter analysis this year. But why did they remove strikeout stats? You have to to to Game Recap and scroll all the way down to see the number of SO's that pitchers have in the game.

Where did the Swing Feedback go? Did they take that out as well? I never have any idea where I swung or how fast the pitch was. This is frustrating...

Its still there, unless you are using timing only hitting.

After a swing and miss, there is a colored blob (red, orange/yellow, or green) that indicates whether you swing was early, good, or late. And where this blob is located is where your PCI was (where you swung)
