There's going to be an official thread made once OSFM is done I believe. The Spreadsheet will be back.

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
I like to give my franchise my own touch each year.
This year, I did a Cardinals franchise, and in Spring Training I made the following deals:
Adam Wainwright, Yadier Molina & Matt Carpenter to the Orioles for Manny Machado, Matt Weiters and Wei Yin Chen.
Matt Adams and Stephen Piscotty for Brandon Belt
Jason Heyward and 2 other A prospects for Bryce Harper.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Hardly. Ramirez is projected to be a .280 hitter 51 runs with 20 SB this year on CBS (probably closer to .270 50-60 runs and 40 SB) while Lawrie is projected at .256 49 Runs and 18 HRS that will probably be .250 45 runs and 15 HR and he's going to play the field at least twice as good as Lawrie. The only thing Lawrie should have on Ramirez this year is HRs. Plus they did just give up Brandon Moss for Joe Wendle. While Griffin also isn't expected back until June and even then he's a #3/4 starter.
My guess is you answered the post without knowing who Ramirez is.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Nah I doubt it. He tore up the minors being one of and sometimes the youngest player in his teams league every other year, in his last 57 games he hit .283. There's no reason to think he won't hit well and he graded out the 3rd best SS in the AL in his 68 games on defense, However With Lindor and Kipnis and JRam can't really play 3B, so he is moveable.
He's better than Joe Wendle who brought back Brandon Moss, Better than Gregorious who brought back Choo.
I would probably do Ramirez for Zimmerman straight up. Even if Desmond comes back you can play Ramirez at 2B.
Originally posted by ghostofsparta15I think you may be putting a little too much stock on those projections, I know he has potential...but still hasnt played a full season yet.
Though he's older, might be able to get Ryan Zimmerman from the Nats. No Guarantee that Desmond is there next year and Rendon is still hurt.
Maybe Plouffe from MN? Doubt you wanna trade within the division though.Last edited by Belle8CLE; 04-02-2015, 01:59 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Well if they're not in contention this year, they're probably going full blown sell mode. They need a SS, which they'd get in Ramirez, maybe someone to replace Frazier (Chisenhall?) and a pitcher, maybe Trevor Bauer.
So something like Frazier (possibly + a reliever) for Ramirez, Bauer, & Chisenhall.Comment

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
Bauer and Ramirez is an overpayment. Adding even more is overkill.
I was thinking something like Ramirez, maybe Chisenhall and NaQuin type deal.

Re: MLB 15 trade discussion thread
For reds maybe it is, but not for Cleveland. Frazier value already drops by leaving the reds ballpark and going to the Indians and probably dropping his HR from 25-30 to 16-20. Plus Bauer is our #3 Pitcher with low end #1 upside. Frazier isn't worth that much.Comment
