It's not a bug because you don't get a dirty uniform. You do get a dirty uniform when you slide a couple of times. I think the game is just programmed so that you get a little more dirty each time you slide. They just need to rework it so that you get dirty some more on the first slide. But by no means is it a gamebreaker.

I knew I'd be proven right. Unfortunately people love to smash others on this site. Some people get attacked for speaking the truth due people protecting certain games at certain times. It is a bug definitely. I've yet to see any players during plays or after sliding into a bag and being accurently represented visually. I thought we were on the PS4 now. Two titles in. And a game so touted visually can't have proper dirt on uniforms? It is a big part of the game. It's like basketball players not sweating during a game. I just think not replicating such a big part of baseball kinda takes away from the experience. Still people will attack still people will say it's not true. But those same people will stay quiet when or if sony fixes this bug via a patch.
Nobody attacked you for "speaking the truth", and I'm sorry you feel that way, but that just isn't the case."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment

I remember when I first played MVP 2004 on PS2. I was blown away that the uniforms had dirt on them and that there were players in the dugout.Comment

Re: No dirt on uniforms
To be completely fair to the original poster, there's no clear-cut definition or any kind of consensus of what a game-breaker/killer is. What's a game-breaker to one person may be completely insignificant to another. If there's something that exists in the game that makes a person not want to play the game, however small or minor it may be to that individual, that could be considered a game-breaker. And while I love the OS community and frequent the site multiple times per day, it's always comical to me to watch how different fanbases behave. In the Madden forum over the past few years is been nothing but constant hatred toward EA but here, if anyone has anything bad to say about the game they get roasted.
Personally, I wouldn't consider not having dirt on the uniforms (which is obviously in the game anyway) a game-breaker. But there have been other, minor things in sports games before that have made them all but unplayable. In the end, the thread was probably unnecessary but sometimes our reactions are equally unnecessary. Anyway, off to play The Show.

Dirt on the jerseys is in the game, just a sign you aren't playing hard ball. They made washers for a reason!Comment

you people are so ignorant. He's not trying to say he won't play the game anymore or that there isn't in fact "dirt" on the jerseys. Truth is, there is dirt, however it is so subtle and light colored it does not depict a real life jersey. For a game that prides itself on the small details of baseball this is an issue that should be fixed. I believe on MLB 14 for PS3 i saw a more real to life depiction of dirty uniforms than in this game. However it is still a great game.Comment
