    Re: No dirt on uniforms

It's not a bug because you don't get a dirty uniform. You do get a dirty uniform when you slide a couple of times. I think the game is just programmed so that you get a little more dirty each time you slide. They just need to rework it so that you get dirty some more on the first slide. But by no means is it a gamebreaker.

To be fair, you said in your first post you were never seeing dirt on the uniforms. Yet people ARE seeing dirt on their uniforms and posted proof. So you saying dirt doesn't exist in your first post is technically incorrect. Only after trial and error did people notice that it wasn't happening in real time.

Nobody attacked you for "speaking the truth", and I'm sorry you feel that way, but that just isn't the case.

I remember when I first played MVP 2004 on PS2. I was blown away that the uniforms had dirt on them and that there were players in the dugout.

Well of course it's a part of the game, but the " is this a game breaker" statement it way over the top.Too many guys are using the terms "broken" or they start calling the little bugs game breakers. Ridiculous! Not every slide will get you a look like the player just slid through a puddle of mud either.

            Re: No dirt on uniforms

To be completely fair to the original poster, there's no clear-cut definition or any kind of consensus of what a game-breaker/killer is. What's a game-breaker to one person may be completely insignificant to another. If there's something that exists in the game that makes a person not want to play the game, however small or minor it may be to that individual, that could be considered a game-breaker. And while I love the OS community and frequent the site multiple times per day, it's always comical to me to watch how different fanbases behave. In the Madden forum over the past few years is been nothing but constant hatred toward EA but here, if anyone has anything bad to say about the game they get roasted.

Personally, I wouldn't consider not having dirt on the uniforms (which is obviously in the game anyway) a game-breaker. But there have been other, minor things in sports games before that have made them all but unplayable. In the end, the thread was probably unnecessary but sometimes our reactions are equally unnecessary. Anyway, off to play The Show.

            Cheers.

This is after one slide with my RTTS guy. In the 2nd inning this happened. So it even happens after one slide sometimes.

Dirt on the jerseys is in the game, just a sign you aren't playing hard ball. They made washers for a reason!

And the true agenda of this entire thread comes to light.

Sorry I wasted my time trying to help.

you people are so ignorant. He's not trying to say he won't play the game anymore or that there isn't in fact "dirt" on the jerseys. Truth is, there is dirt, however it is so subtle and light colored it does not depict a real life jersey. For a game that prides itself on the small details of baseball this is an issue that should be fixed. I believe on MLB 14 for PS3 i saw a more real to life depiction of dirty uniforms than in this game. However it is still a great game.
