    Relievers in starting rotation

So I simmed though some games and noticed that CPU controlled teams are still putting relievers in their starting rotation. I really was hoping that this was fixed this year.

Just got done simming a season and saw this so i decided to look at it. There were 6 teams that had a RP with a start. 1 of the RP had stamina in the 70's so ill forgive that. Another had 54 which isnt that great but not to bad. They were all NL teams though. Did you notice if AL teams did it in yours?

      Were they long relievers?

Sometimes guys are flexible. A guy like Alfredo Aceves served as a spot starter, long relief, middle relief, and sometimes even late inning relief for the Yankees a few years back.

No, from what I saw there were several pitchers with below 30 stamina. Sean Marshall, of the Reds, is one that I can think of off the top of my head. I simmed month by month and went through every rotation at the end of each month. If needed I could always take a screen shot and post it here.

This is liable to happen when the fantasy drafted teams are carrying 15 pitchers. Did a sim of the fantasy draft and more than half/closer to two thirds of the teams went 5-8-1 or 5-9-1 for roster composition of pitchers.

Could this be a problem with 40 man rosters?

This is probably the last and definitely the most prevalent reason I still use 30 team control.
It drives me nuts....that I have to cycle through each teams rotation every few days in schedule and check that there isn't a 23 stamina RP in the rotation.

JayD has posted this in the bug thread....and voting it up would help!

I understand not wanting to lock out RP from the rotations.....I could live with RP's starting...AS LONG AS...they have at least a 55?60? stamina rating.

I think we should just be able to have the option to add SP as a second position. That way you could lock out only RP. That might just make it worse though.
