I've basically come to adapt this strategy.

I play a full game against every franchise I play that season.
The then do Quick counts for the rest of the games in the season.

    Take for instance tonight.

First game of the year against Braves: Full Counts, loss 1-0
Second and third game of series: Quick Counts, Two wins (4-0, 2-0)

    I love it.

I much prefer the pacing of the game with quick counts on, especially when I'm pitching. I would prefer to bat with it off though, given a choice. If there is ever an option, which there should be imo, where you can choose to have it on for offense, defense, or both, THEN I'll be ecstatic.

How do you guys that play franchise utilize it in contrast with full games? I am thinking of how I willl use it, like for example using QB the first two games of a series and if tied then playing 'normal' the final one or two games.

          What is your method?

I love QC's because Im 1 who wont X thru cutscenes, as I want to see all the little things, especially when it comes to this game, with as amazing as it is.

Only thing I don't like about it is pitcher analysis on # of pitches thrown is still screwed up, as it only looks like it counts the actual pitches you throw in QC and not all of the pitches like it should.

I play every game, along with quite a few of my minor league teams games in my franchise, and QC really helps to get deep into franchise, and not miss anything little thing they have in the game. Im sure there are some that are just that way and will X thru no matter what, but for people who truly love the game of baseball and want to submerse yourself into your chise, I would higly recommend using QC. Averago game without X thru any cutscense is roughly 1 hr and 45 minutes, which knocks off roughly a 1 hr with out QC's, so it does save some time.

Not a fan of using Quick Counts in my own games. Somehow I just feel cheated in the experience. If I am super rushed to get a game in, I will set up Fast Play and button mash through the game when necessary. However when time permits and I can get some CPU vs CPU games in for my Division rivals and or the other Division leaders and contenders in the league, I am a huge fan of using QCs in those games because I view a Fast Play + QC game to be better than a simmed game. Of course simmed games will always be needed, 162x15 is an awful lot of games to play over the course of a season.

I like quick counts and all and 8 use them but never in my franchise. I want to be apart of everything that happens in mine every pitch all 162 +games.

Agreed across the board here. I use QC for every game I play now. It's such a great addition and at the same time, even though it saves you time, you don't miss anything in terms of experience when playing a game. GREAT feature.
