Is it me or is Pulse Pitching not working?

When I select a pitch and the pulse meter (circle) appears...it won't let me move the L stick to move the pitch in any direction. Your only option is to throw it down the middle.

I created a bug report, but thought I would see if anyone else is having the same problem. Thanks.

I forgot how pulse pitching worked in the past, but the pulse does not move, only the ball marker.
If you have ball marker disabled...the pulse will always be in the middle even if you aim for corners.

I play with ball marker off, and use the vibration to know if the ball is outside the zone or not.
Balls definitely do not go down the middle.

You have to turn on the pitch ball marker option on

Well, I'm not crazy after all. I just played '14 and yes the entire pulse meter moves without the ball marker on. And was the same for '13 also. They changed it this year. Without the ball marker turned on, you can still move the L stick in the direction you want to throw it but it's not visible (unless you turn the ball marker on) which from a user preference...is what I'll use.

Any1 else pick a pitch and location then you press x and it won't go? happens sometimes throughout games to me

Gotta wait like 15 secs to 30 for it to go

wilb, I couldn't find your bug report so I submitted one of my own (#10421). The problem is that if you turn the ball icon off, it's like the game thinks there are two people playing and won't move the pulse circle (which it did in '14). Hopefully that will be a quick and easy patch.

I can't even use pulse pitching, i tried it last year for 1 inning and it was the worst thing i've ever used, guess its only my personal thought on it

you can get used to it but its random like classic which is faster
