    Franchise Trade Finder Bug?

Whenever I try and use the trader finder feature in Franchise its always ends the search by saying no trades found. I have tried this with different players, early on in the season and near the trade deadline and with different franchise teams and I get the same result with all of them. Does anybody know how to fix this?

For some players like the elite franchise players like a Kershaw, Tulowitski and Felix Hernandez there would not be a trade available because that team is not willing to trade that player for anyone

Yup, I had no issue trading for lesser people but the Nats had no interest in sending Harper to the Giants.

Its a cool feature, but trade logic has not been improved(IMO)

I wanted to test it, so I put Colon through the trade finder...had many offers(which is great)but they were insane! The one that stuck in my head? The Yanks offered me A-Rod, Andrew Bailey and Aaron Judge JUST for Colon....WHAT?!?!??

Make sure you hit "X" on the player(s) you want before pressing "Square." When I tried it the first time, I just pressed "Square" on a player thinking that would do it. Make sure they're selected first

Yeah...although the Mets are the only team that I have my profile set to. All the rest have my "dummy" cpu profile assigned to them. I like to keep up with real life transactions is the only real reason I do it.

Can you do me a quick favor?

Can you tell me the current OVR, Age, Position, and potential of all the players you listed?

Example: Colon - SP - 41 years old - I forget his OVR and POT.

If I'm not mistaken, Colon is rated what, 83? 85? Even though he's 41 there may be a reason the Yanks wanted him. Did you check the Yanks pitcher depth?

There are teams that will make trades to get that extra player to try to make the post-season push instead of rebuilding or trying to get young players.

                    Sure....

                    Colon-SP-40yo-79ovr-A pot.

                    A-Rod-3Byo-71ovr-A pot
                    Bailey-CP-29yo-71ovr- C Pot
                    Judge-LF-22yo-62ovr-B pot

(this is a Y2Y franchise so ages and ovr's will vary from others) A-Rod I get. He's an aging vet and in my 'chise the Yanks have A LOT of 3B in their system. Bailey is slightly less understandable. Hes a closer and in the majors although hes not actually closing for them, just relieving. Judge is the curious one to me. A young B potential OF when they have a lot of aging OF's in their roster. Gardner is ahead of him in the system. Alas, I guess the cpu isnt smart eenough to move him to say CF or RF?

It just seemed "out there" to me that they would offer 3 guys for a 40yo pitcher. Especially the caliber of players they offered. Their rotation isnt horrible(lowest rated is 70 highest is 86)

Does this trade free up a ton of salary for the yankees? And is this colons final year of contract?

That's really not a bad offer for either side. A-Rod is probably included to balance the money. Bailey is likely on a 1 year deal, and isn't likely to improve. So you're getting a B prospect for Colon and the Yankees are probably desperate for pitching help.

Yeah I agree. Its basically a Judge for Colon deal. The other players may just be because of salary. I would guess its a playoff push move. Trade a B-potential for a #3 pitcher. If im not mistaken a 79 might make him 2 or 3 in the Yankees rotation (sadly)

Colon has 2 yrs(its an import from 2014...just with 2015 real life rosters-so I just started the 2014 season). It could be a money thing-I'm mid-game at the moment so cant go look. This was also after like game 2 of the season. so it had nothing to do with playoffs. I just wanted to see how it worked was all. I had zero interest in the trade.
