Is there any way to turn off AUTO SAVE?

New to MLB and new to PS4, but head over heels in love with the MLB15.
Still learning as I go along, so thank you everyone here who has helped.

Is there any way to turn off AUTO SAVE?
Sometimes, if i dont understand what the bloody hell happened to my 3-0 lead in (offline) season play, I have to QUIT---but dont relish losing all my previous data ( as it autosaves the result)
Anyway to have manual saves only?

Really interested to hear from any other UK MLB fans..(i have many many questions..lol)
    Alll the best

Go to gameplay settings, click r1 until you get to the screen with hot zones and stuff, and you'll see an option for post game auto save.
1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!

Just a quick tip, always have two saves. After every game, save over whatever file is oldest. This way you can get all the benefits of autosave without the drawbacks of the game autosaving when you accidentally hit ok on that rediculous trade offer that you would never even truly consider.

The game will only ever autosave on the single file.

I actually use three saves alternating every series. This habit is left over from the old days before 30 team control when we would get the corrupt file error in August. Which I believe is what lead them to 30 team control in the first place. Now it does not seem to be much of an issue, but I am firmly ensconced in the habit. I have tried not doing it this way, but I am too paranoid and set in my ways.

Two saves? Three saves? Paranoid? HA! I usually make saves just prior to the new regular season, just prior to the draft, just prior to the trade deadline, just prior to Sept 1, just prior to playoffs, right after WS, and during times in the off season. Then save files to other drives too. I may be the winner here!

I wish there was a way to turn off the autosave that saves a franchise/season when you first start one.
I start a lot of seasons for the sole purpose of exporting players, then I have to delete the save I never needed.
                    A minor annoyance, but still.

Yeah I know what you're talking about. At least it's less of a problem this year since we can have a much larger number of concurrent mode saves than 5 (why did you do that '16? Why?? )

Yes me too. I had a corrupt file after the all star break one season and I had no back up file. I had to start over. That totally sucked as I am one who plays every game every pitch. From then on I always make sure I have at least one back up file. I am in year 3 of my franchise. Couldn't imagine losing all that. I think I would just quit playing lol
