Power swing?

Can anyone please explain to me how the new power swing works with the analog stick?

Am i suppose to hold the stick back when the pitcher releases the ball or before that? I find it very hard to do power swings this year

It doesn't matter when you pull the stick back. All that matters is that you pull the stick back.

Does the PCI come into effect on Pure Analog? I know that even though you can't see it or get feedback like last year, there is still an option to have it on even with the pure analog interface. Don't know if it's just for show, but any idea if the PCI shrinks the way it did in the past when using power swing?

I think the PCI shrinks with power but only because power swing is a Wisk rewarded type of thing. With power swings you have a better changes of hitting the ball hard but at the same time a better changes of popping it up or missing then with a normal swing.
