    Quick Count Pitch Totals Inaccurate

    Anyone else noticed this?

I'm on PS4, playing exhibition games, and using quick count the pitch totals aren't accurate.

For example, pitcher has thrown 10 pitches, next batter steps in with a 3-2 count, you'd expect the pitcher to have thrown at least 15 pitches right? 10+5=15. Except it'll show like 12 pitches instead.

It's consistently off but not by the same amount each time. Very easy to replicate, just use quick count in exhibition mode.

I haven't tried it in other modes yet. Waiting on opening day rosters before starting my franchise.

I already submitted a bug report on the shownation site. Just wondering how many others have run into this.

This was done on purpose. It is not a bug.

This is done intentionally to balance out the pitcher's stamina. If you go into the in game tutorial and tips in the pause menu it will explain it fully.

        Thanks for the replies.

Horrible decision imo. I loved how it worked last year. I've always had trouble getting accurate pitch counts (avg. 15-16 per inning) and the quick count feature did that for me last year but fails to do it this year.

        Ugh!

It worked the same way for quick counts last year too.

Worked the exact same way last year and since this was explained to us last year by the devs I'm going to go ahead and close this.
