Season Mode and updated weekly rosters?
If I start a season with the current available roster from Sony and then say 3 weeks from now when they release another roster can I add new players from the updated roster to my current season? I know you could not do this in the past but was wondering if you can now do this with MLB 15 The Show? Like for example if I start my Phillies season today I can not use Rookie Odubel Herrera because he has to play at least 1 game first before he can be on Sony's rosters I think. So I would love to start my season and then be able to add him to my current season when he is on the updated rosters.

Re: Season Mode and updated weekly rosters?
no you cannot. Whatever roster you start with is the one that you play with.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Bummer
This is by far the thing I hate the most about MLB The Show. I just wish there was a way to keep my roster in season mode updated with the real MLB current rosters.
Maybe there needs to be a new Mode called "MLB Today Live Season" ModeComment

Re: Season Mode and updated weekly rosters?
It makes sense why it's not in there though. Let's say that I am playing a franchise, I know different mode but just stay with me, and they give us the option to have this on and I turn it on by accident. And I am working with the latest OSFM roster, whichever it is, and on Monday I load up my franchise and I have the new update instead of my OSFM roster. Or I am many seasons because I like to sim a lot and play GM rather than play 162 games. Just giving my reasons to why we haven't seen anything like this.Comment

Re: Season Mode and updated weekly rosters?
Ramone mentioned this about a week ago that they are looking at ways to allow us to import players into existing Franchises (hopefully Seasons as well). Of course this won't happen in MLB 15. It is something for next year or beyond. But it would be nice to be able to import specific players into our existing Franchise (and hopefully Season) files.Comment

Have you looked at The Show Live mode? It's about as close to what you're looking for as there is in the game.Comment

Re: Season Mode and updated weekly rosters?
the only way I can see this working is if they make a mode similar to Live Mode where you play a season mode, one game a day and each day you download that day's rosters.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: Season Mode and updated weekly rosters?
I think it was NBA Live 10, that had a Live Dynasty mode. It was awesome. It was kind of like The Show Live where it would update daily with real life stats and rosters, but it was a franchise mode because it remembered the games you played and merged in your results with real life results. If you didn't play a game, the stats from real life were applied to the franchise. You could also go back and play previous day games in case you got behind. I've never seen or played anything like it since, but I only play baseball and football games, so maybe another sports game has this mode.Last edited by aukevin; 04-06-2015, 02:54 PM.
