Happening Monday night. There is no excuse for this. You'd think with all the hacks, customer information stolen off Sony, Sony server outages in the past that they would make sure the flagship Playstation game they have Monopoly with would work online a week plus after release.

Yeah, Im waiting for these rosters then im done with DD.

Lost a diamond card somehow, and now bad servers. Sony obviously took their server classes from 2k/taketwo

I have been receiving Server Error and You have lost connection to the servers messages constantly since Sunday night. I played a DD game that lagged and was sent for review right before this occurred. Ever since then I have not been able to connect to the online modes without the messages every time.

Before Sunday it worked perfectly fine....

I played most of the day yesterday and about 95% of the time I was getting the message in the video. I havent gotten a stamp in 2 days, and yesterday I didnt get any rewards even though I probably played for about 6-7 hours. I didnt even try to mess with DD but I am sure it was worse than just trying to start the game up.

Yup. Came from Xbox 360 and new to PS4 and pumped to get to play an awesome baseball game. I bought the anniversary edition from the PSN and loved it... at first... when DD worked. I haven't been able to play it since Sunday evening. I didn't even bother to try more than once yesterday, and same problem as everyone here is describing. It's ridiculous. I guess maybe I could play Franchise? I haven't even gotten to try RTTS. There's so much content in this game I feel like it would take a couple years to go through the different modes. Aaaaand, the one mode I started out on doesn't work. From what I can tell, Sony isn't even recognizing that there's a problem? Their twitter tells people to restart their router, blah blah. Seriously?

Yeah, it's not an issue on the client side. I've gone as far as putting my PS4 on a DMZ completely open to the internet with no fire-walling what so ever, rebooted the router multiple times, rebooted my PS4, ect....nothing has had a noticeable impact. Not to mention I have no issues with any other game (Hardline, Madden, FIFA)...the problem is on their end.

Its definitely Sony's issue. I had no issue playing CoD:AW or Battlefield:Hardline multiplayer last night. Although, every time i tried to start up MLB15 I got a server connection error.

I have not played today.

I can say last night I played two straight online franchise games in our league without any issues.

The game was playing great online. Obviously something is up. I am sure they will correct it. They worked really hard to get this game playing online and they know how important online gaming is to the profitability of this franchise. Diamond Dynasty is incredible this year and will only improve with future editions with better anti-cheesing measures.

This is a committed team. These guys put themselves out front and continue to be here and around reading and listening. I realize it can be ultra frustrating. How do you think those guys feel after putting in the hours they have to bring this game to us. Those guys are passionate about their work.

Hang in there. It worked really well..something is obviously amiss and I am sure they are going through the protocol to figure out how to fix the issues.

I believe in this dev team. The game is a joy to play. Play some offline RTTS or franchise to pass some time while this get's resolved.

Don't know what else to say.

Solid post. I hope my post in this thread didn't come across as sour grapes or anything. I'm new to PS4, really PS at all, and certainly new to The Show. This was not pointed at anyone. More of a calming voice in a sea of panic because of the past experiences for online play with this title.

I realize the track record for online is trash where as offline is diamond quality. But since launch through last night my personal online experience has been nothing short of a total blast. So I am willing to bet it is a technical glitch that will be resolved shortly.

It was working like a champ so they got something right. Hard to believe all of a sudden it is destroyed.
