This should help you, it's Netflix help for 4k content:
If you want to get the best streaming quality from your Netflix account, click here and follow our step-by-step guide. Enjoy your streaming in HD, Ultra HD, 4K, UHD, Dolby Vision, HDR, and HDR10+.

Once you have your Netflix set up and are on a compatible TV, you should see a ribbon for Ultra HD content when you start up Netflix, and Ultra HD as a format option for Breaking Bad, seasons 2 and 3 of House of Cards, and any other 4k movies or shows (there are only a few).

Also, Amazon video has 4k TV series and movies. Some are free if you are a Prime member, others you have to pay for.

If put on game mode it will be more then fine for gaming. My Samsung 4K tv in game mode produces low input lag

So I guess ill leave at 1080p and change on my receiver for 4k movies .... TV's have sure come a long way lol
The receiver is doing the upscaling so it is not producing the ps4 game at 4k. You should never use a receiver upscaler as it introduces even more processing and input lag and more up and down conversation by the ps4

Set the receiver to straight output which is what the source has

If any one has a good 4k tv and good 1080p tv could they take a photo of the game on the to tvs?
PS4 games look just like 1080p consoles on a 4K tv.

Playing games or watching TV definitely looks better on my Sony UHD than my other TV's/projector. With Sony's you can adjust the upscale quality by adjusting Reality Creation in the TV. I usually leave mine around 15-20 but it does make a difference. My Sony is about 34ms for gaming. It is by far the best looking image I've seen this game in. I'm viewing on the XBR-65X950B so the full array lighting definitely helps too.

exactly. I have the Samsung 4K HU9000 65 inch and it looks great but is 1080p and does not look as good as playing on a monitor with higher pixel density

It's available in all modes. The upscaling algorithm on Sony's doesn't result in input lag. They/I have even tested this. I have mine set to manual/20 in game mode. We hooked TV's up and tested input lag and Sony's were the best for input lag besides the Vizio's. If it wasn't for Vizio's terrible upscaling quality that results in a ton of artificial noise it would be a great UHD.

I have to disagree. I put my PS4 on my LG monitor to install the game while I was watching a movie and noticed the game looked horrible compared to my projector during the intro game. I have played games on this monitor before and they have never looked that bad. I guess my Sony projector is UHD and has 17ms of input lag so I'm used to a pretty great running game. Can't beat 120" of this game with great picture quality! A monitor just doesn't do it for me anymore.

That is cool and if you love it then that is all that matters.

I am just stating that on a monitor the pixel density is much higher then on a big screen tv or projector which means the picture is sharper.

The pixel density on my 65 4K Samsung tv is 67

The pixel density of my 2K Asus monitor 27 inches is 115

The pixel density of a 4K Asus monitor at 28 inches is 150

I agree about pixel density. A lot of the reason my TV looks better to me is that I'm viewing from about 12' away. I view my monitor sitting right in front of it so it does balance out. Pixel density doesn't mean all that much when viewing from the proper distance. 1080p is the same when viewed correctly, whether it's on a 20" monitor or 120" projector. The more I've done with projectors the more I realize this. I view my projector from 16' away and it looks perfect even with 1080p content on it.

Your monitor no doubt will have better input lag than your Samsung though. I know when we tested the 9000 series it was usually in the 44ms/45ms range. Monitors at the most will be 6ms.

I still have to play on game mode to get rid of that little lag especially on pitching

Ive had to use game mode for years now and even the new tv I have to still use it

I was hoping this new one I would not have to but it is what it is

So if I made the jump to a 32 4k monitor as opposed to a 4k tv the clarity would come through better. I currently go back and forth between playing on an Acer 27" 2k monitor and a 50" Panny plasma , and enjoy both. I usually watch a ballgame while playing, and it is just a preference as to what source I prefer at that moment. Just been curious about going a little bigger monitor wise
