CPU bunting to much?

Dose any one else fell like the CPU is trying to bunt to much? I don't think I have had a game yet where the CPU didn't try to bunt for a hit at least once and is sure fells like the CPU tries to bunt for a hit like 4-5 times a game. It is starting to drive me nuts and doesn't fell realistic.

Not seeing any issues in my games. I've seen nothing but speedsters try to bunt for hits. I've seen sacrifice bunts and had a squeeze play attempted, but no crazy bunting attempts outside of ones I would expect.

Not seeing any issues in my games. I've seen nothing but speedsters try to bunt for hits. I've seen sacrifice bunts and had a squeeze play attempted, but no crazy bunting attempts outside of ones I would expect.

You know what is funny I have heard people say in the past that the CPU tries to do suicide squeezes to much yet I don't think I have ever seen the CPU try even one and I have ever mlb the show game since 08. While I have had fast guys try to bunt that is not so much the problem just how much the CPU tries to bunt. I had the CPU try to lay down a bunt hit 2 batters in a row on back to back pitches. Could it be because I am only at rookie on DD? I know the CPU bats different and pitches different depending on what difficulty you are play on.

Give it time, you will see one. I don't recall very many suicide squeezes in previous years of this game, but I have seen a few so far this year and even fell victim to one in a Spring Training game.

Note to self: if you have a one run lead in the 9th inning with one or no outs and the opposition has a base runner on 3rd, pitch out because expect the runner from 3rd to be coming home on this next pitch.

I play on All-Star and have seen 4 squeezes in my first 10 games, Albert P doing it with runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out in the 9th. Big problem so far.

Every single time the AI has someone on third with 1 out or less there is a suicide squeeze play. Its very frustrating.

Most all of my games are Hall of Fame I have friends playing All Star that have seen the same. We've been playing in Season Mode, not sure if that makes a difference.

odd I thought maybe if you play on a lower difficulty you see that I guess not. I have been playing on DD.

I have pitching on Hall of Fame and I saw the following situation:


Game was in extra innings, bottom of the inning....CPU had the bases loaded and no outs.....tried to bunt and popped it straight to my pitcher and I recorded a triple play.

Wow that is not good to hear. Weird I am not seeing any these odd bunting by the computer I am just seeing the computer trying to bunt to often.

I see this to the point of infuriation in RTTS. It's every game if you play an infield position. ...sometimes 2 or 3 times a game. You will also see hitters that would never be bunting in RBI situations....
attempting bunts. It's to the point of aggravation that I'm trying to switch position

I don't play RTTS, just franchise, and I haven't noticed this issue at all.
