    Do you get training points for going to college?

    Or is it just a do over for the amateur showcase? Theoretically you should get better those 4 years playing in the NCAA. Do you get the points to reflect that before another run at the showcase?

    Yes you get training points. But its not nearly enough to compensate for not being on the field. There is really no reason to start over. You can improve your potential with good play and point will come.

    I completely hosed the Showcase and was a D potential and went real late in the draft. I actually got lucky and was drafted by the Mets who were real shallow at SS. By the end of my first year I am a B potential and a starter in AAA.
