RTTS League Leader in Steals... Ryan Howard?

I'm in year 2 of my RTTS and I am second in the league in steals with 19. The leader has 28. And that leader is, Ryan Howard.

I used default rosters with no edits and haven't noticed too many other issues with stats, but this is confusing. I checked Howard's ratings and they are listed as 99spd and 99stealing.

    What happened?

I knew this sounded familiar. Another heavy hitting first baseman becomes steals master....

      Wow, interesting!

And after looking at the screenshot I now remember that the ratings for Howard were 18 speed 99 stealing 99 br aggression.

Has to be a bug, no?

I would think. Given that his normal starting baserunning ratings are 28 speed, 0 Steal, 0 Baserunning aggressiveness, maybe it's some kind of underflow problem that happened when he regressed? (which he certainly would have done at 35). What I mean is, those two ratings couldn't drop below 0 so maybe they rolled back to 99.

Did you do a bug report?

In any case this doesn't seem to happen in Franchise (every time, at least) as I just did a test sim and only his speed dropped 2 points - the rest stayed at 0.

That seems completely logical bcruise. It's probably not a coincidence that both of these examples happened in RTTS either. That's probably how it snuck through QA. Regression is looked at a lot closer in franchise.

I did not file one. Probably won't be able to look more into it until next week.
