Outfielders slow down when near wall?

Does anyone think the CPU outfielders slow down way to much when approaching a wall even when they make the catch? I mean, the right fielder makes the catch in foul ground and sort of tip toes to the wall very slowly and then turns to throw to the IF. It did not look "normal" at all. Sort of like slow motion.

Because of this, the runner tagged and made it to 3rd easily without a throw. There seems to be an unnatural slow down in these types of situations...

Yes i have noticed it, players in the outfield seem to me to be to fast at default slider settings, i lowered my fielders speed slider from 5 down to 3 and it makes a huge difference, the timing of outfielders is wrong thats why you see outfielders with legs that move funny almost like running in place for a minute, changing fielders speed slider from 5 down to 3 makes for better fielding animations and sliding catches, imo.

I think that animation has been like that for a while. That has always drove me crazy, it takes him forever to get the ball back to the infield.

Do any of you have it to where there is a line drive and the fielder doesn't get position in time? Then the player ends up committing an error on the play, or whiffs on it?

Yes, it happens, not sure if its a timing/positioning problem, i personally think its just human error on our parts lol.

The slow down doesn't bother me.
It's the 5 minutes (exaggeration) it takes them to gather themselves and get ball back in.

yeah, this is something I've been "monitoring" as I continue to play and the more I play the more I think it may need to be "tuned" a bit.

I love that momentum plays a part in fielding nowadays, but it seems as though the animations that take over hamper the fluidity of the fielding. Nothing drastic but very much noticeable.

Why get all bumped off over a game that is really fun to play? I don't let little things get to me. Yeah it's frustrating but that means I have to pitch better and I won't put my fielders in those situations. Lol.
