Graphical glitches?

I'm trying to figure out if this is the game, or something with my PS4.

I started my dynasty with the Braves today. First game at Miami, late afternoon start. The majority of the game looked like this with the shadow covering the infield:



But, about every other inning, for one batter only, it suddenly looked like this, with no shadow visible on the field, though the players are covered:



Then it would revert back to how it looked in the first screenshot, only to happen again later in the game. I guess it happened 4-5 times. When I got to about the 7th inning and the field was completely covered in shadows, everything looked fine and it didn't happen again.

I'd pass it off as a weird graphical glitch, but the ball is almost invisible when I pitch if I'm using one of the behind the plate views. If I'm using one of the behind the pitcher views, there's a little bit of a flicker, like textures jumping, when I select my pitch.

I see everybody else raving about the graphics and lighting, so it makes me wonder if something is going on with my system, though all my other games look fine.

Not seen that yet but there area few graphical glitches ive found.

Not sure if they have "turned on " AF either as from certain angles textures go to soup (especially grass in distance)

There are a couple of stadium glitches too like the top deck in Rogers there are seats that are wonky (not normally an issue but you can see when batting and it's pretty distracting)

Also the disappearing grass and detail when selectng pitch as discussed.

I mentioned this before, it's the game. You'll notice it between left and right batters, also the colors shift from a saturated cartoonish look to a realistic color palette.

Is it a partial cloudy day or evening? If so the sun will get tucked behind the clouds causing different shadows through out the game. Pretty cool feature.

Doesnt look like that as the players are in shadow.

But yeah thats a cool feature

I don't think it was clouds. That shadow is from the stadium; it grew longer as the game went on. Has to be a glitch.

I rebuilt my database and re-installed the game. Next game was fine, but it was also a night game.

So it seems to happen, at least for me, strictly for 4 p.m. games. Also, I've found that when it happens, if you into replay mode and then back out, it fixes it. Although you may have to do that several times per game.
