i just started a rtts 3b and starting in showcase, everytime I'm fielding i always get errors. either its a fly ball i always drop it or balls hit on the ground i always drop them but can still pick them up and throw to 1st but i get penalized for it anyways. is this a bug or anyone else experiencing it?

Do you have manual fielding turned on? With it turned on, you need to hit a button (I believe R1?) in order to "field" the ball. -

L1 I think actually.
Either way though yeah, for some reason I completely forgot about this my first RTTS game until I looked somewhere and found it. Right before you catch the ball you have to hit a button otherwise you will error.
Can be disabled in the mode specific options I believeComment
