Anyone else getting beaned by thier catchers?

    Ok RttS Pitcher, right handed

Runner on first, pitching to the next batter. Throw the pitch and the runner goes for the steal. Catcher attempts to throw runner out at 2nd but my fat head was in the way and the 3rd baseman gets the ball. End result = 2nd base stolen and pitcher is made of a sack of meat hanging in a meat freezer?

I have a video of this in my Arena in Videos under MLBTS15 folder. I want to post it in here but it is very NSFW or women or children, dogs, cats, stuff animals.... due to salty language (way to many years in the military...so sorry), but I was laughing and tearing up when this happened and in a chat party trying to explain what just happened to my non baseball friends.

This has happened two times already in the course of a day or two (can't remember exactly, been playing a lot of RttS games)

    Thanks

this happened in mlb14 just as randomly as in 15.
Nothing really to get excited about. If your pitcher gets injured, then yeah, probably worth a youtube vid. Doubt that will happen

Never had it happen in 14 (or any other version that i recall), ball always phased through the pitcher on the way to second.

This is throws from the catcher BTW, I have been beaned by balls hit up the middle, even got an injury from it the other day..

After you throw the pitch move out of the way, that's what I do. I have never had a problem.

Haven't seen the pitcher being hit by the catcher throwing to second yet, however, I had a habit of buzzing pitchers' heads back when I was behind the plate. It would be cool to see at least a reaction from the pitcher on a low throw to second.

As far as odd beanings of pitchers that I've seen, and I wish I kept the video/screenshots, threw a high-inside fastball to the batter who fouled it directly back to the backstop. The pitcher went into the auto-wait-for-a-ball-after-a-foul stance as it was fouled back. The funny/sad part was the ball ricocheted hard off backstop and came all the way back out to the pitcher and hit the pitcher in the foot. When the pitcher was hit, the commentary kicked off with Karros talking about the pitcher getting drilled by the line drive. After the sequence ended of the pitcher getting the return throw and stomping around the mound, the injury screen popped up with the pitcher being injured with a broken toe.

LOL that's funny. Don't know if I would be upset that I got injured from something freakish like that or laugh my head off that it just happened.

I don't think you can hit CPU pitchers throwing to 2nd on a steal attempt. They have the hidden attribute (possibly making them really OP) called "Ducking".
