Walk Off Issues
I haven't had a walk off yet in a regular game, so I can only speak for RTTS, but has anyone else experience statistical issues on walk off hits? I've had two issues now. First, I hit a walk off single with my player. After the game I noticed I didn't get credit for a hit, an RBI, or even an AB. It's like the at bat never happened. Second, I had a teammate hit a walk off single while I was on first base (based loaded) and the final score was 8-6. They had two runs score on a walk off in the bottom of the 9th inning which obviously does not happen as the game ends as soon as one crosses the plate. Anyone else experience these issues? I would hate to hit a walk off HR only to not get credit for it. Not to mention the training points (probably around 40) that I'm losing.Tags: None -
Re: Walk Off Issues
For the first issue about not getting credit for the hit/AB, were you brought in as a pinch hitter by chance? I've seen some strange things with RttS when my player was brought in as a sub and stayed in the game, kind of similar to what you mention.
Have not seen the second issue you mention. -
Re: Walk Off Issues
For the second scenario, are you sure it was a single and not a ground rule double? if it was a GR double both runs will count.Comment

Re: Walk Off Issues
I've already submitted a bug report awhile back about this bug. Please go to theshownation.com and upvote it to make it more visible. In my situation it was bases loaded, bottom of the 9th and tied 2-2. My player hits a double (which can't happen in this scenario), score 2 (which also can't happen), and I received no at bat for the 9th and no RBI. Both the scorecard and log is missing my 9th inning at bat.Comment

Re: Walk Off Issues
I have, yes.
Hit a game winning walk off single, my player got credit the RBI but not the hit, it said in the game log, fielders choice, incorrectly.
Minor but hopefully its patched.Comment

Re: Walk Off Issues
It seems like an issue where if the run crosses the plate before your player gets to first base, you don't get credit for the hit. Does that seem like it's the issue or did some of you actually cross first base before the run crossed home and you still didn't get credit?Comment

Re: Walk Off Issues
I wonder if that's why I failed on a few of the community challenges where only a hit is required. The run scores prior to the hit being recorded would qualify as a failure of the challenge.
Kinda makes more sense after reading this thread.Comment

Was going to mention the exact same thing. Have done a few challenges where you would fail because the hit wasn't getting recorded."In a year that has been so improbable, the impossible has happened." - Vin Scully
