I'd have to say that issues and bugs arise differently for different consoles, so this patch may only be for whats affecting the 4. The 3 may have completely different issues... So they'll be addressed separately.

They patched the first baseman on the base receiving a catch from RF back in MLB 12 or 13. It was being abused online. No matter how close ya outfielder played or how fast ya base runner was, it was almost an automatic out EVERYtime. It's such a rare play, it was to easy of an out in video game world.

We are putting the finishing touches on the first patch now. It's fixes a lot of the big issues that users have been experiencing. I'll post more info when I have it.

hopefully it fixes my DD problem where when I play a game of extra innings it doesn't count at all. Doesn't show that the game has been played doesn't show it in any of the place you can look to see games played. It does give me the stubs, but I mean what the hell. I've tried the clearing cache on the ps4 that does ****. I just would love to play the mode this year and it really makes me want to return the game for the first time in memory.

Why would you want to be able to throw runners out from the outfield? That's not realistic at all.

I've thrown a pitcher out at first from right this year.

I'm aware of when it happened, why it happened and how it was fixed. That was not the question I was answering. The poster said in 30 years he had never seen it happen and that it never did. He promptly said he stood corrected.

I'm sure it's a pretty noob question, but if I make a RTTS player now, will the patch affect my RTTS career once it's out? I'm just wondering whether to wait or not to create him.

The patch has never effected franchise or RTTS in years past, so I would think you are good to go.

The patch that fixed '09 required you to start over. That one was the crash to XMB one.

Hope they fix the wind. I'm playing with wind one click from being full and wind does nothing with the ball like it did a few years ago. 22mph wind blowing out and final was 2-1. Every fly ball was a can of corn. No ball carried!

There never really is any "talk" about the patch, it just kind of appears. One day you'll open your front door and see it there, in a cute little basket. Usually it comes with a note, explaining who it is, and why you should take it in and learn to love it.

So just be patient. You'll be holding a patch within your arms soon enough.
