I see that a lot of people online like to throw high inside heat, so I try to counter that tactic by swinging early and intentionally puling the ball. Even when I do that I still seem to get a ton of broken bats in this game -- way more than should happen. Is anyone else seeing too much shattered wood, even when you're well out in front of inside fastballs?

Online people tend to exploit high and inside because for many catching up to them is very difficult (both naturally and due to network/input lag).
If you are actually early on inside-high fastballs, I think you shouldn't be seeing that many broken bat; I think that is meant to happen when you are literally jammed. That probably means you are actually late on those pitches (at least the game think so).
If you are using Zone, cheating by placing your PCI high and inside a bit should help you speed up the swing. With Directional (which I haven't used online yet), aiming inside and/or high should help you a bit.Comment

I think the Show made a run on Maple bats this year.
Maybe next year they can stock up on some Ash bats.T-BONE.

I tend to break my bats like 3 times a game lol. I don't play online but part of it is I have always gotten jammed and pop up balls to much.Comment
