When will the show fix the catchers missing pitches which are in the zone
First off, the game and series is great, but this is a glaring issue that kills the immersion of the simulation. By no means does it kill the game, but I've seen this happen quite a bit this year. Pitches that are blatant strikes hit off the catchers mask or shoulder and it just looks extremely odd, I could see maybe once or twice a year, but it is fairly common at least 2 or 3 per 7 or so games. Does anyone know why this hasn't been fixed. Every year I think it will be fixed.Tags: None -
apparently, that is realism.
just like a game in 2015 having no stat tracking.
one can always wonder.
hope u r welk, jsou.
I am the guy in Washington State who gave you $20 for your NFL 2K5 rosters.

Cool man, good to hear from you. You still playing 2k5. I've came close to firing it up again.Comment

I see it but it only happens without runners on base (for me) so it's never bothered me much.Comment

Re: When will the show fix the catchers missing pitches which are in the zone
This is actually what causes passed balls in the game (scored when runner(s) advance).
I agree the presentation is rather poorly done (basically the game doesn't have good animations indicating the catcher missing the pitch), but the frequency of passed balls is actually within a realistic range.
I think the game just needs to add smoother animation/presentation when passed balls happen.Comment

Ugh, the superhuman catchers have been in the game for the past 3 years now. It's horrible and doesn't seem like it's going away any time soon.Comment

Yeah I agree with that because when you see the catch miss the ball like 99% of the time he doesn't even move his glove. In real life even when a catcher misses a strike on a pitch he gets crossed up on he is still going to at least move his glove.Comment

I agree, i got burnt bad by one on a 4 seamer, that somehow bounced into the stands for two bases on a 3rd strike. I was heated.Comment

This problem has cost me numerous games and happens alot with a runner on 3rd base, Pitch off the catchers glove, Bam automatic score from 3rd, Very frustrating.Comment

I have yet to see the catcher miss a pitch in the zone with runners on base. This goes for both me and the cpuI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
