Seriously, 25 pages in and no answer to the most obvious question: do we have to re-start our franchises to get the full benefit of the patch?

I don't care if that's the case, but someone ought to answer that question definitively.

I won't post on this again, but lots of people have asked. It's an important point.

Does anyone else think the catcher reacts way too quick on choppers off of the plate? I've never seen a catcher get to a ball and tag out the runner before he even gets a third of the way down the baseline in real life. Just insane reaction time there!

Absolutely dumbfounded that stealing wasnt patched or nerfed a bit at all. Extremely disappointed.

That Dominguez Little League HR was hilariously bad btw - I don't know if I could have stopped it even by throwing home correctly. Would have been a close play at best.

it still wont let me do a fantasy draft with a custom roster...every time when im done picking my settings and i press x to star my fantasy draft it exits me out of the game and takes me to a error message and asks me if i want to report the problem...someone pls help i spent the first 10 days after release editing my rosters for my franchise and now i cant even use them the way i wanted to in a fantasy draft...and it only does it when i choose to do a fantasy draft

I'm curious to see if they corrected sim stats when simming multiple years into the future. I'll have to run some test franchises tonight. I just opened Bug ID 13645 today so obviously no action from SCEA based on that yet :o)

The batting average and league hit totals drop off a cliff when simming 8+ years into franchise. Appears to be an issue with generated rookie pitchers having insanely high potentials, leading to extremely high H/9 ratings down the road.

Actually Soler should have never ran into the wall like that after picking up the ball, he wasnt running full speed and there was no reason for him to brace agains the wall. I am also not sure why the cut off man decided to take 3 steps into the OF after catching the ball before throwing in. More things that need to be fixed. The running into the wall has been an issue for a while now.

Is anyone else seeing a crazy amount of errors, post-patch? It's so bad that I think I may have to go back to auto-field. Dropped fly balls, dropped throws to first and outfielders breaking in on balls that are obviously hit over their head. Not good.

Is anybody else seeing this problem, an increase in errors post patch?

I won't argue that there was a bit of wall suction going on (although I was titling the stick all the way toward the ball so he WAS on a full run, or at least full momentum). But the throw was terrible - you can see it barely made it back to the middle of the outfield, on a hop no less. That's why the cutoff man had to go lunging for it and stop and plant before throwing it back in. Soler's defense is pretty underrated in the default rosters IMO, and I've been dealing with a lot of fielding plays and throws like that from him since the game came out.

Edit: Knowing that, I would have been better off trying to play this off the jog, and I made that mistake and got punished for it. Certainly not the first time I've gotten greedy and ended up playing something into more than it should have been with my defense.

I'd just like to say that these guys' responses to bugs and user feedback is so superior to EA's that I think they need to be commended.
