Need Quick-Button Access to Box Score & Pitcher's Stats!
I play on the PS3 version and overall I love it. With TNK's sliders, I have very realistic results in my Franchise. My only thing is I wish there were more stats! Don't know if it's the same in the PS4 version, but I can't find out how many Ks my pitcher has during a game unless I go to the box score. This should not be the case, and I'm pretty sure it was different in years past. When I push the right directional button while pitching, it takes me to the screen in the upper left that shows the pitcher's count. Why can't they have this little screen also show the pitcher's current stats like K, BB, H, etc.???? Also, I wish there was a quick-button access to the game's box score. Those two things would make a huge difference for me. I wonder if this is something they can patch in.Tags: None -
Re: Need Quick-Button Access to Box Score & Pitcher's Stats!
To respond to (and bump) my own thread, if the choice is between the details of a pitcher's count vs the current game's pitching stats, I would much rather have the current stats. As another poster pointed out to me, in last year's game, the d-pad would have quick access to a pitcher's stats, but they removed it for some reason in this year's game. I also recall easily being able to see the pitch count. PLEASE BRING THE STATS BACK! Also, please bring back quick access to the box score! If people actually care about this as much as I do, please post here. Maybe we can get them to patch it in. -

No, I meant that the pitch count is there now as it has been in the past. But the pitcher's stats have been removed.Comment

I believe the OP is talking about this screen that you could bring up quickly by pressing SELECT in past versions.
I'm not sure if it's in the PS4 version or in last year's as I skipped '14, but I too am unsure why this screen was taken out. Currently in '15 the SELECT button is being wasted by showing tutorial tips, which can actually be turned off (and they sure are). So, technically the button isn't being used.
For me personally, it's the only thing missing from this game and I find it to be bothering me more and more with each game I play. I seem to have no idea what is going on statistically as the game goes on.
I so wish this could be patched back into the SELECT button if one has tutorial tips turned off!UNIFORM LINEUP : Every MLB cap and jersey worn since 2012!Comment

I think OP is referencing the D-pad left menu which last year would show: innings, walks, hits, strikeouts, runs (might not have been all of these). This year is shows balls/strikes/total pitches.
I fully agree with the OP. I want to see a quick snapshot of my pitcher's line. We already see the pitch total on the screen this seems redundant. I also rather see a line over pitch count anyways.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Good point. And the other annoying thing is that when you push the start button, it shows the batter/pitcher breakdown which has the exact same info for the pitcher as you get with the d-pad quick screen - strike/ball/pitch count. Why would they have two different menus show the exact same information. They have to fix this to make one of them show the pitcher's stats. Also on that start button screen, the batter's info just says something like "1 for 3". Couldn't they at least show what the hit was?Comment
