Hot/Cold Zone options

Is it just me, or did they forget to put in code for the preview setting for hot/cold zones. It seems to work when you have hot/cold zones set to off (they are off all the time). It seems to work when set to on (they are on all the time every pitch). However when set to preview, which is the one I like that shows the hot/cold zones on the first pitch of the at-bat only it's almost like the game thinks it is set to off so you don't get any preview, almost like they forgot to put in the code for that specific option. Anyone else having problems with this specific issue?

its not an issue, its how it was designed.

When you use Preview, you see the hot/cold zones prior to the first pitch of the AB only. ON they show up before every pitch, OFF they don't show at all.

No issue, working as intended.

I understand how preview works, I even explained it in my first post. What mode are you playing mostly? I'm noticing preview works only when playing 'exhibition' mode. In every other mode (haven't tried diamond dynasty) when set to preview, hot/cold zones are off?!?!

I use quick counts mostly, will preview not work with quick counts?

Preview will not work with quick counts I don't believe

Yeah I just realized it might be quick counts that screws with it, I guess I'll test it when I get on the game today. Thanks

The reason it does not work in quick counts is because you are never in the beginning of an at bat with a 0-0 count. If it is something you want to see put it in the wish list thread.

I think a quick fix for that would be adding it to the pitch preview... holding r2 would give you the hot and cold zones , as well as what we already see... what pitch was thrown and where, and if we were early, late, or good with our swing. I use quick count also, and I wish you can see the hot/cold zones without permanently leaving them on.
