RTTS Steal and Drag Bunt Regression Bug

After a few RTTS years veteran power hitters end up leading the league in SB because they have 99 Steal and Base Running Aggression attribute. Drag Bunt also seems to be bugged as well.

    A couple threads:

    http://www.operationsports.com/forum...an-howard.html

Spoiler has a pic from the first thread showing Prince Fielder.

    Spoiler

I'm not sure how many years into RTTS this takes to crop up but the easy way to see if this bug is happening in your RTTS is to check the SB leader. He shouldn't be a power hitting 1B. If he is look at his attributes to see if his Steal, BR Agg, and Drag Bunt stats are inflated to 99.

If everyone who's a few years into RTTS could check the SB leaders to see if the is happening that'd be great. Then upvote the bug report if it is.

Yeah, I'd encourage everyone to upvote this one, I've seen it firsthand as well. There was another thread on it a little while back.

Strikes me as an underflow-type of bug.

Anyone else seeing this? I thought it was more prevalent than this lack of response shows.

I've seen it, just not much to comment on. Like the issue with batting averages taking a nosedive after a few years pass it's something that will probably have to wait until MLB 16 to fix.
I don't see them fixing regression bugs in a patch.

I mentioned this in the RTTS thread. I'm only in 2016 season and Victor Martinez is 2nd behind me on AL Stolen Bases race. He has 0 Speed, 99 Baserunning Abililty, and 99 Baserunning Aggressiveness and still stole 24 bases. Dude has 7 stolen bases in 12 years. For 2017, I am going to assume I will have to content with V-Mart, Billy Butler and Big Papi.

I saw one year that Joe Mauer had something like 60 steals in my RttS.

I think the issue might be that ever top end player in the game as well as old guys have a potential of A. I know I have seen guys like ichiro, and AJ Pyrzinski with a potential of A. This to me would suggest that given time they can attain a 99 in whatever the game decides.

Yes, I've seen it. Paul Goldschmidt of the Dbacks is leading in my RTTS with 48 SB!

Yes, I know, it's crazy..but oh well, got to live with it I guess, just like the #3-5 power hitters bunting with two strikes and men on-base. This bug drives me nuts! because it happens a lot! lol I wish they fixed that, it's been in RTTS for many years!

Interesting this is the first I have heard of this bug before and I don't know why regression and progression would be different then in franchise mode. RTTS and franchise mode should use the same logic for players in the league.
