Selecting base runner with 1st & 3rd

If I've got runners on the corners, how do I steal or hit and run with the runner on 1st.

If you want the runner on first to steal you move the left stick in the direction of first base (right) and hit L2

That hasn't worked for me since the game dropped. I have to hold down circle and then hit L2. It's annoying because with a runner on second the batter shows bunt the whole time you're trying to steal

I think you might be using classic basrrunning perhaps?

Select the runner with left stick. Use analog for everything. Eventually you'll be much happier. Except with batting, since SCEA SD ruined Zone + Analog.

Sounds like your game is set to classic baserunning.

Your only solution is to erase your file data and reformat your PS4 and start over.

Just kidding, it's in your Gameplay Settings. Just pause the game and look for your baserunning options, and make sure the "Baserunning Controls" is set to Default, NOT Classic.
