    Question about editing potential

Kind of odd question but in mlb 13 we couldn't edit potential. Why didn't you guys just export players with a potential over players with lower potentials. Did that create a bug. Or just an unwanted imbalance in the player pool. I'm asking because I'm one of the few who enjoy 13. I have every game released PS3 and ps4 but the hitting in 13 is my favorite. Thanks for the input. I'm updating my rosters and just want to make sure creating more a potential players won't mess something up.

It creates an imbalance just as you said. When you see for example 2 A's, 5 B's, etc retire, the draft pool is then filled with 2 A's,5 B's, etc.

So importing player over a retired such as jeter has no effect. If both potentials are the same.
